What are the alignments of the Old Gods? In case you’ve never heard of alignments, you can “Google Dungeons and Dragons alignments” and get an idea of what I’m talking about.
Yogg-Saron: Chaotic Neutral
C’thun: Lawful Evil
Y’shaarj: Chaotic Evil
N’Zoth: Neutral Evil
Ben Brode: Chaotic Good
What do you guys think?
I think all of them are chaotic neutral. Because they are so indifferent to mankind/ players, that they can’t be considered good or evil in human standard.

But Lawful or Chaotic has nothing to do with mankind’s sensibilities but rather the beings natural inclination for anarchy or order.
That is why C’thun who even though was the god of madness and chaos would indeed be Lawful Evil. As he set up a hierarchy of organised minions to dominate the world.
Which if you think about it is really terrible writing on Blizzards part, as the god of Chaos and Madness shouldn’t be making orders of evil beings.
Millhouse Manastorm: Neutral Evil
Hakkar: Chaotic Evil
Leeroy Jenkins: Chaotic Good
Reno Jackson: Chaotic Good
Galliwyx: Lawful Evil
Bobby Kotick: Biggest Evil In The World

They are beings heavily “inspired” (cough) by Lovecraft’s Great Old Ones, down to having formerly ruled earth in a loose pantheon, but now are somehow bound and rended mostly passive deep in the earth. I’d see them as chaotic evil:
- Chaotic because their behavior is beyond human categories of law, neutral or good
- Evil because their creators, the Void Lords, are (copied from Wowpedia) " entities composed of pure shadow energy - - Merciless and cruel beyond imagination, they seek only ‘to twist reality into a realm of eternal torment’"

Yes, they built the Black Empire, but constantly fought against themself, plotted and schemed, trying to get control of all Azeroth each one for itself. I can’t see lawfulness or neutral behavior in them.

Y’shaarj might have been a better candidate for having disciples. Anger often motivates people to organize and rebel against established orders. Or maybe C’thun just plays the long game, since it is immortal.
LUL, I can see you put some thought into this. Keep 'em coming!
