Adding Artifacts to hearthstone

firstly you can only add 5 Artifact’s to your deck increasing the starting deck size to 35.
They can’t be duplicated and can only be played once per game for each player.

Artifacts are natural minion, spell & weapon.
They can’t be played with mana, instead they enter the battle field by discarding a minion, spell or weapon with matching cost/attack and health, from your hand or from the battlefield.

The idea of introducing Artifacts is to move away from discover cards and the RNG…Luck that they introduce to the game.

Sounds interesting any example of artifacts that you would like to see in the game.

so what whould be the point of these? adding them to your deck whould decrease the chance of getting other cards and when you draw them you have to discard to use them probally with nothing to discard for them cause the cost whould have to match.
not to mention they really cant be powerfull cause you can drop 1 or 2 on your first turn.
also what whould these have anything to do with rng and discovery?

This.

And

This.

The concept is interesting, but needs fleshing out. There’s a reason weapons, certain spells, etc were made legendaries and one per class: generic and all class would let you stack and dump them in your deck and you would be op if you played a ton of them in the right order, or got them head of you opponent.

Making them a “one per” would tone that down a bit, along with some other balancing. As for moving away from discover and RNG…it’s a nice thought, but you can’t spell hearthstone without it.

They don’t need to be a multi type…they just need to be an “artifact” type.
