why are people overeacting over a voiceline THEY CHOOSE to hear ?
do they play the game staring at the portrait without blinking waiting for the silent speech balloon to pop up?

This has never crossed my mind, first i dont care what my opponent user name is,dont care what he has to say the reason why squelch at the start of every match and finally why i dont accept any friend requests ever.
The less info(personal) i have of the person playing against me the better.
I use female avatars on 99% of the games i play and that means nothing on those terms.
Everyone has their own experiences. Coming together and sharing them is how we all gain perspective.
I have no qualms with the Squelch feature. I used to click it every time. Iām speaking of animations specifically.
None of the in game reporting matters. It is just a venting placebo for angry players.
If you want to make a real report you have to do it the manual way. Open the battle.net site and create a manual ticket to be read by a real person. After a real person reads it, they will classify your request as out of scope (no one is going to manually investigate a case) and then send a generic pre-written response.
The only reports that get real attention are ones that float to the top of outside gaming community places like reddit.
Yes and no. If they DO look into a ticket, THEN the in-game reports will be also available as an extra support; I havenāt worked at Blizzard but itās only logical; I agree just reporting in-game is probably doing nothing (or at least thatās my intuition from Blizzardās behavior over the years (MAYBE if hundreds are collected for 1 account or so)).
