Darn it, I always think I’ve got a little more time, and the early rollover on achievements surprises me every time. I thought I had it in me to pick up one or two more still tonight. Ah well.
I’m going to say I had more fun with the Titans achievements hunt than maybe any other season. And that’s despite the fact I have very few titans and basically couldn’t complete 1/4 of 10 classes. But many of the other achievement goals felt nicely thought out and well balanced. Usually one that could be pulled off with a custom deck, a little luck, and only a couple of games. Another that took some grinding but wasn’t too drawn out, in general.
There were only a few I thought were totally unreasonable*, but as a whole it was a nice set, and it gave me an excuse to try different builds and gimmicks, and I genuinely had fun.
- The Yogg location casting random spells and needing to destroy its target minion a million times** was definitely the worst offender. A ridiculous number for a totally unreliable effect, on a card I mostly didn’t want in my deck except for the achievement.
** Whatever the number, it should have been 10, maybe 20 tops.
