Accessibility of Signature cards

Blizzard can sell their super expensive Signature cards as much as they want, but I want an option to bring back the basic accessibility features, like card text on the cards themselves, the rarity gem, and minion type in their usual places, and a unique frame for legendary cards. The simplest way would be to have a checkbox in the settings which, when turned on, would make the client render Signature cards as their Golden versions. I would love to check that box and forget what the signature cards look like. A less simple way could be a separate card frame as a more visually accessible version of Signatures.

I don’t mind the idea of premium cosmetics. I used to buy some in-game items, including cosmetics, to support the game I like, and I’d continue doing that. But right now, I don’t want to support something that makes the gameplay experience worse by removing card text and other important details from places where players are used to seeing them.

hover over the cards

in this game you can check card text by hovering over them

Of course I know that. That’s one of the things that reduces accessibility.

For example: Imagine you want to check for a specific minion type in your hand. You move the cursor over the cards, glancing at the bottom—not necessarily too slowly, since you don’t need to read every word; your brain quickly recognizes the one you’re looking for (e.g., ‘Beast’). With Signature cards, though, there’s no text, so you have to pause and see where the hell is the separate popup that contains all the information.

I’ve wanted the same things for a while. I support this.
