I’m usually a F2P player … but due to not having enough gold to stay competitive in the next expansion, i decided it was time to finally give in and give the basic preorder a chance so i could keep playing in the upcoming meta. Sadly and like i said, Blizzard utter incompetence got in the way because after trying to complete the payment for over two days with different methods (Paypal, debit card, in-game client, website) i can’t pass this error - “Your payment was not authorized. Please double check your information or contact your payment provider”.
Now, before anyone gives me the usual condescending boilerplate answer … YES, all my data are verified and i have enough funds in my account, hell i have done a few HS buys with this exact same data in the past and i have done Nintendo Switch and PS4 buys with no issue, so it’s not on me Blizzard, it’s on you.
Fix your damn system.
i’m going to try to make the purchase tomorrow (which is the last day i assume) and even going to try to make it via other methods, but i’m not holding my breath.
Sad to see one of my favorite companies ever being ruined by this sheer amount of incompetence because if i can’t get my pre order, i will hardly ever get back to HS because let’s be honest, no new cards, no fun.
