A "Computer Players Take Over" Function?!

I just thought this idea was genuinely the best possible freaking option for this game when you want to play, but not commit your energy so you and your opponent agree to just turn the rest of the game into a sped-up action based movie played out by Computer (A.i?) Players.

Thoughts?

So, when you don’t want to play but still get the benefits?

Yeah. When you want to commit to Hearthstone, but don’t want to commit your energy, this question can be proposed to the opponent, AND it can be made as an auto-propose option for when you just want to see your deck creation played.

Commit what exactly?

TO be exclusive. Of course.

yes, if such a feature is implemented, it would need to deactivate rewards. No XP, no stars, no achievements, no quests progression.

That might actually be interesting now that I think about it.

I would really love to see a “custom games” mode anyways. Basically instead of sometimes rather dull Tavern Brawls that mode could be a mode where people could come up with their own rules or maybe even “scenarios” like adventures. So one option should definitely be “A.I. opponent” for “single player custom games” or however you wanna call it. And I was already wondering: "Should then there also be a “A.I. player” option as well? Who would use that and for what? But yeah, just to see this or that played out could also be fun. So yes, why not. I would be all for it.

Commit your loyalty? Trust? Enjoyment? Time in front of a screen?

probably just this tho

all the better

I would say keep rewards in tact.

Thank you for your enthusiasm. I feel more strongly that a “Computer Players Take Over” function is not only a good idea, but maybe an absolute MUST INCLUDE in the near future. It literally resides in the digital realm of ‘simulation tests’ and allows players to sometimes have a movie-like experience, and sometimes an interactive experience.

Loyalty and trust are not something to “commit” to a game. And enjoyment can’t be commited, it can only be experienced. As for time in front of a screen, you’re saying you’d rather watch a bot play your games rather than playing yourself? I mean, I get it, why watch a streamer play Hearthstone if you can watch “yourself”…

You’re just grasping to legalize bots and farm stuff.

What??? That’s a serious claim.

No, I am not just grasping to legalize bots and farm stuff.
Yes, I am just trying to help Blizzard ENTERTAINMENT stay true to their deepest roots with WHO THEY ARE and provide Entertainment AS WELL as games that let us experience Entertainment. Thank you for understanding.

By taking away the entertaining part of actually playing the game? Because that’s why people play games, to be entertained. I know I’m always looking forward to game night, when I can have someone else play a game instead of me so I can do something else. Highly entertaining that is.

Sure, LIKE I WAS forcing the option on you by asking to be an option. Some great read you are.

I’m asking you for reasons why you’re suggesting this, and you’re saying “entertainment”. Playing the game IS the entertainment, so if you take away that, what entertainment do you have left? Nothing, other than reaping the rewards or like I said the benefits, to which you replied:

But to be fair, you probably forgot you admitted to wanting a bot to farm stuff.

Back in my day, people played games because it was fun.

Okay dude, if wanting to have an easy time from a game into a movie is a bot to farm stuff, good for you. You won your argument.

People play games as a way of life sometimes now. Technology and games are where there is like a centerfold of energy at now-a-days and if there isn’t more backing to games then I’m afraid there may be more war.

I think you can easily farm the bp to 400 with a botted account.

People play football as a way of life sometimes now, but that doesn’t mean we should expect everyone to treat everyone with a ball in their back yard that way.

What the heck, Mand? Haven’t people always been self-destructive? Why are you using that as an argument against AN OPTION to make the game better for many many players that just seems like a natural progression that Blizzard Entertainment should take?
