I’m not a pirate person so this quest is driving me insane, plus I had already hit legend for the month, so I hadn’t planned on playing it again until next month’s reset ( which is only a couple days from now, but still)

If previous events are any indication, you don’t necessarily need to complete all the big quests if you’re on top of the dailies.
Not sure how fun it’s gonna be when some people are still on the first quest which leans towards aggro pirates, and then the next one where you want a longer game to reach Marin lol
Also had a 75 quest recently,while playing only BG. Though arguably 75 is easier in BG,depending on what 75 you need. Still didnt get close to completing despite playing quiet a lot lately.
I guess blizzard doesnt want people who dont play full time to complete all quests. Its kinda lame but o well. The gold is useless for BG players anyway.

Maybe blizz can open a special gold shop. Where you can buy some skins and emotes with gold. Maybe only with gold that would make them a bit exclusive in a way as well. And then they could be quiet expensive,and only a few skins every expansion. To drain the gold and to give players the idea of at least getting some value. That would be kinda nice but lets not get our hopes up.

You don’t have to complete any quests, because it also gives that kind of XP by just playing too, but it’s obviously much faster if you do both quests and playing randomly.

This time, there are Weekly Event Quests, instead of a Legendary Quest Chain, alongside the Daily Event Quests. Complete the entire Event Track to earn 14 total packs, 7 from Perils in Paradise, 4 from Whizbang’s Workshop, and 3 from Showdown in the Badlands!
The Weekly Quests are tougher than usual quests, designed to be completed over the course of a week or two instead of a day or two*, but completing the three Weekly Quests awards enough XP to earn the first three tiers of Event Rewards. Complete Daily Quests as you go to get that big Reward at the end of the Treasure Hunt!
- Weekly Quests are unlocked for all players on a weekly reset (start of event, day 7, and day 14), but players who start late or don’t finish one Weekly Quest before the next one is live will be given the next one immediately upon completing the one they were on—giving the opportunity to catch up.

I agree it was stupid, I just put 28 pirates and 2 weapons in a Daemon Haunter deck in Standard a mode I don’t even play, I could have done it in the actual mode Wild but there are too many pirates there it would have caused me to think

Only one daily to do now for the event. They are REALLY trying to get players to login daily. What a horrible idea.
they adjusted from a legendary quest chain(with 7 different steps) to a weekly quest chain and then usually they have 1 daily resetting slot. If you played/destroyed your 75 pirates you won’t get more till Monday in that slot
I still believe most people haven’t realized it’s not a daily but a weekly. I guess they started raging against it and then the rage stuck. When I tell them it’s weekly they say nothing and just stay angry without an argument.
Except you could do it all and have 2 quests every day. Now you only get one after you finish each step because it’s done as a single step weekly.
