What are the strategy and metagame for Warlock versus Death Knight? How many control archetypes are there? Why does Rogue have the strongest late-game AoE board clear? Is a 10%+ win rate difference between going first and second considered acceptable in your opinion? Maybe it’s time to handle balance properly? Perhaps you could buff removals and late-game strategies for certain classes?

The nerf to the Prescient Slitherdrake feels a bit like trimming fingernails; I’m not sure if it will actually be effective.

Additionally, I haven’t seen any announcements regarding bug fixes for Standard, Arena, or Tavern Brawl modes. Could we get an exact timeframe?

It’s literally the elusive. It’s way too strong on some cards. You could give bwonsamdi elusive and it wouldn’t really change much other than making him hex immune(which how many times does that happen). Meanwhile things like this need to be able to be removed with spells if you’re going to be able to cheat it out.

I completely understand your preference for Rogues, but the fact that Death Knights and Warlocks are currently all but unplayable hardly constitutes a “diverse meta.” I’m not asking for Rogues to be nerfed, but why aren’t Warlocks and Death Knights receiving any buffs? They aren’t even getting any new cards to bolster their decks.

Both these nerfs seem like a temporary fix and likely more nerfs coming to these cards at some point.

Once again, do nothing nerfs. The problem with flight maneuvers wasn’t the health buff :roll_eyes:

Yes, the HP doesnt matter at all… since the divine shield blocks all the first attacks… Slitherdrake is also a joke… even if they would remove elusive.. it is still has too much HP to handle..

when are we going to play against real players in battlegrounds? this bot life is actually killing the game.

Can you now take another 1-2 health away from prescient slitherdrake or keep its old stats, but increase its cost to 9?
Flight Maneuvers needs a cost increase as well.

Once again the nerfs aren’t going to make a difference. I feel dev doesn’t understand why those cards are strong.

The chance of Maneuvers getting a cost increase is 0, and that won’t fix the problem

But we can start by delaying it a turn, until they come around with a second nerf.

At this point, it feels like Blizzard isn’t interested in addressing the actual power ceiling of these cards. Prescient Slitherdrake isn’t dominant because of its damage; it’s dominant because of its board persistence. Dropping it to 5 Attack doesn’t change the fact that an Elusive minion with 8 HP coming down on turn 4 is nearly impossible to clear.

Similarly, removing the +1 Health from Flight Maneuvers misses the mark entirely. The extra health was never the issue—the problem is the mass Divine Shield that makes the board uninteractive. Blizzard is failing to listen to the community here. With Paladin and Warrior sitting at 57.7% and 56% win rates, these ‘love tap’ nerfs aren’t going to solve the fundamental problems with the meta.

To make matters worse, we’re seeing a massive lack of deck diversity. Aside from the outliers like Paladin and Warrior, most classes only have one functional deck—maybe two if they’re lucky. This is happening because most other archetypes have become completely obsolete or never had a chance to shine. It’s frustrating because this is the first expansion after the Standard rotation; this should be the time for experimentation, but instead, we’re stuck in a rigid meta where the power gap between tiers is just too wide.

My hopes honestly? This comment will be lost in the void, unheard and unanswered because that is usually how my luck works. Anyway, good lucky and good games everyone.

Battlegrounds: You have got to be kidding me! WHY DID YOU NOT NERF BEASTS???

EDIT: Thank you for disabling the stupid chicken. Now people have to actually you know play the game instead of forcing a comp.

You made me hate the game because of my own class.. good job.. thank you.. finally I can uninstall this crap.. not to mention other dirty tricks.. I had Legend for many-many months now.. in the last few months I suffered really hard to get it but this month I just couldn’t. Returned 4 years ago.. almoast 5 now but I had enough I think.. This is everything but not fun anymore.. and I play for fun.. so I have to move on.. I can feel it.

Most ppl agree with you. We dont like being scammed into an auto loss or killed on turn 6 by overpowered elusive dragons.
