Greetings, friends!

Patch 34.2.2 is here! As a reminder, this will be our Highlights and Known Issues thread for the whole Across the Timeways cycle.

Please find below some of the issues we’re tracking, with updates to follow as we learn more.

Thanks for your help raising any potential issues as you come across them!

Highlights & Info
  • :loudspeaker: [Ladder Ready decks] - Dec 11 Update: We’re targeting the end of this week for a final heal-up. [Update Dec 12] Heal-up moved to the next week.
  • :woman_judge: [Bans] These will be added to the drop-down menu below (the list is also mirrored here). If your Arena deck contains a banned card, you will need to retire it manually (your ticket should be refunded).

Tracked Issues
  • :new: [Battlegrounds] Golden Profound Thinker puts two different Spellcrafts in your hand but casts one of them twice.
  • :new: [Battlegrounds] Timewarped Shivara doesn’t work with Timewarped Devourer
  • :new:[Battlegrounds] Timewarped Ichoron does not override Divine Shield buff from Ichoron the Protector
  • [Shop] Unowned Full Ranked Hero Skins in the for You page have the same description as Lite skins.
    • [Update] We’re updating the descriptions; non-English locales might take a little longer to update.
  • [Battlegrounds] “Replace Me” voice over can be heard at the start/end of turn when using Winter Queen bartender. :cold_face:
  • [Battlegrounds] Minions that does not have taunt cannot get taunt again if it was removed previously with Tricky Trousers.
  • [Hearthstone] Zilliax Deluxe 3000 doesn’t restore any Health from Lifesteal when it contains Avatar Form.
  • [Menu] Sometimes, there is no music in the main menu.
  • [Battlegrounds] Removed Akali, Rock Rhino from E.T.C, Band Manager discover pool.
34.0 Resolved Issues
  • [Deck Builder] Fabled minions’ companion cards are not added to the deck.
  • [Ladder Ready Decks - New Decks] & [Ladder Ready Decks - Core cards only] We’ve established that both of these issues are caused by the same bug. This is now the main thread for updates; and this one is now merged into it.
  • [Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where Timelooper Toki could give you cards that normally aren’t allowed to be randomly generated.
  • [Battlegrounds] Fixed a bug where Feisty Freshwater’s Deathrattle did not trigger for your teammate in Duos.
  • [Battlegrounds] Fixed a bug where Storm Splitter could copy Timewarped Spells.
  • [Battlegrounds] Fixed a bug where Plunder Pal did not grant an extra Gold. [Battlegrounds] Fixed a bug where the Golden version of Apexis Guardian’s Deathrattle could pick two separate sets of targets.
  • [Battlegrounds] Fixed a bug where Stalwart Kodo’s enchantment could be overwritten by Timewarped Tamuzo.
  • [Battlegrounds] Fixed a bug where Sunken Advocate and Bluesy Siren could cause desync issues.
  • [Battlegrounds] Fixed a bug where the first instance of Blood Gem Barrage did not update based on your current Blood Gem value.
  • [Collection] Some players did not receive the Reroll option when they obtained the Diamond Chromie or Diamond Farseer Wo. We’re aware and a fix was added with Patch 34.2). We’re now working on a heal-up to push the Reroll option to all players that obtained the cards before the fix was implemented and were eligible for a Reroll at the time.
    • :right_arrow: Update December 10: Rerolls have been granted to affected players, thank you for your patience while we addressed this!
  • [Missing Ladder Ready Decks - before Nov 13th] This issue should be resolved now, and players should have received their decks. Main thread.
  • [Hearthstone] We are (once again) investigating reports that some players are unable to make progress on Quests/Achievements/Tavern Pass.
  • [Shop] A few players have reported they’re being offered the Rogue Signature Bundle despite owning it already. We’re investigating those reports.
  • [Battlegrounds] Timewarped Shivarra does not gain stats from Corrupted Cupcakes or Timewarped Devourer.
  • [Golden Return to Wild Bundle] We’re investigating reports of Thorim not being included in this bundle.
  • [Hearthstone] Rabbit’ath Pet being equipped causes crashes in Ranked, Battlegrounds and Arena game modes. Pet is currently disabled.
  • [Arena] Gelbin of Tomorrow can be drafted in Arena.
  • [Hearthstone] Playing Deadline does not progress Warlock Quest - Escape the Underfel
  • [Hearthstone] Ice Trap prevents Broxigar from being summoned.
  • [Wild] Demon Hunters can’t gain Broxigar if they play Glide to shuffle Third Portal of Argus into their deck.
  • [Hearthstone] Stick up does not work in Wild mode.
  • [Collection] We’re investigating an issue where ranked rewards are containing packs from The Lost City of Un’Goro instead of Across the Timeways. Update: Packs have been delivered to affected players. Enjoy! We’re currently working to grant the correct packs to affected players. More info here.
  • [Incorrect Ranked Rewards & Mr. Clocksworth Signature] Please read the update here. [Update Nov 18th] - Updated ranked rewards granted.
  • [Hearthstone] Silencing Muradin, High King does not remove the High King’s Hammer buff from him
  • [Mount] Sarge’s Tale is not being awarded.
  • [Tech] We’re aware of reports of screen flickering and performance issues on Google Pixel 6 devices and are investigating.
  • [Hearthstone] Golden hero powers and portraits from 500 wins are not currently available.
  • [Collection] Signature Murozond, Unbounded incorrectly states that it can be obtained from card packs.
  • [Battlegrounds & Anomaly appearance rates] We’ve temporarily disabled the Anomaly appearance rule introduced in Patch 33.6.2 (the one preventing an Anomaly from appearing again for at least 3 games) while we work on addressing an issue. This means players can see repeat Anomalies in their games. We expect this rule to be activated again in an upcoming update.
    • [Update Nov 5th] The rule has been re-enabled on November 5th.
  • [Battlegrounds - DUOS] We have temporarily disabled the Duos mode to allow us to work on an issue causing game crashes. Thank you for your patience!
    • [Update - Nov 5] We’re re-activating the mode in each region. Please note that this is still in progress and we’re closely monitoring the service to minimize any issues. We will update when the process is completed in all regions. Please note that games might still not be possible at this time.** [Update Nov 5th] The mode is now online.**
  • [ Collection] Some players were able to obtain the Signature version of Mister Clocksworth from packs - this wasn’t intended, and we’ve corrected the issue that caused this incident. In coming days, we’ll be removing this card from players that obtained it due to this bug and replacing it with a random Signature Legendary card from Across the Timeways set.
  • [Hearthstone] Alternate Reality only provides the discount, but does not replace your hand. Update: This card has now been banned. See list above for all current bans
  • [Brawl] Players can still face Dive the Golakka Depths in Brawl.
  • [Arena] Hidden Objects cannot be used in Arena. The card is now banned there.
  • [Packs] Catch Up packs cannot be open.
  • [Collection] Signature Mister Clocksworth: The card can’t be disenchanted.
  • [Hearthstone] Players are not receiving their 2nd Golden Stormbrewer from The Lost City of Un’Goro Free Track (lvl 75) and their 2nd Golden Ravenous Devilsaur from The Lost City of Un’Goro Tavern Pass (lvl 25) - we’re investigating.
  • [Battlegrounds] Friendly Bouncer does not summon a minion if hand is full.
  • [Hearthstone] When Rewind is played simultaneously across multiple clients, players after the first to cast Rewind may experience delays.
  • [Hearthstone] During the Rewind effect, there are some unintended sound/video effects and board interactions possible.
  • [Solo] Book of Heroes - Faelin’s Challenge cannot be progressed past puzzle 3 (Challenge 15)
  • There is no “disconnected” pop up when disconnecting from the internet.
  • [Hearthstone] Mirage granted from Spirit of the Badlands can permanently turn into a minion card if not played.

All my packs in the prerelese brawl was lost city pack now it doesnt let me start a new one

Dive into the Golakka Depths is NOT banned in the brawl, just lost to paladin using it, will not progress further until it’s fixed.

Timelord Nozdormo does not awaken sooner when a card from the new expansion is played in tavern brawl

Im having some kind of weird bug on mobile. I have a 3 loss reward chest pop up that is empty and I have no way of getting past it to play the new event stuff. Im on android and the chest is from right before the update I played a bad mage deck got 3 losses in a row and now it just pops up congratulations with a chest thats empty and no way past it. Plz fix it. I have already cleared my phone cache and even re-downloaded the whole game and its still popping up.

In arena i choose mage and pick his quest. Card for 2 mana hidden objects don’t discover a card. And that card not triggered quest. "Because of that, I lost the game, and I’d like to ask for compensation — two arena tickets that I spent

I have the exact same same issue on Android mobile. Got a empty chest, but still got rewards, (after i restartet the game) but old exp packs, i Played before update, i have opened them, and the new from, the crono event, that got released after update… but i am stuck at a empty chest now to, and cant get passed it.

I have a reward chest that is empty and prevents me to play the pre release brawl. i have already recieved the rewards from my previous brawl, but now i can’t start with a new deck. i think the game started to update as soon as i claimed the rewards, but the animation of the chest hadn’t started yet. please fix, i also tried to uninstall and reinstall but the chest is still there

I have a bug where I try to play the pre-release brawl and i am stuck on a congratulations screen showing a chest. I open the chest and nothing ever comes out of it and now I cannot play the pre-release brawl at all because the screen is stuck and there is no way to bypass it or stop it from occuring. I have tried switching regions, restarting the client, logging in and out, and on mobile and PC. Both have yielded the same result. I am barred from playing pre-release tavern brawl and I can’t do anything about it. Is there anyway to fix this?

I had a card chosen for the brawl that now is banned from the brawl so i cannot continue my run or edit my deck. It was the paladin murloc quest.

What about the issues that existed before the patch? I, like some others, never received my two packs for 10 wins (the “Choose Your Champion” sub-requirement). And no, the answer that “It only worked in Standard” doesn’t count — it’s explicitly stated several times on the website:

Want a bonus you can count on? Lock in 10 Ranked wins during the promotional period & earn 2 more Lost City of Un’Goro card packs!

Go all-in? Extra bonus! Win 10 Ranked games during the promotional period & earn 2 additional Lost City of Un’Goro packs!

Additionally, players who win 10 Ranked games in Hearthstone during the Voting Period will win an additional two card packs from The Lost City of Un’Goro expansion.

The conditions are written three times, and not a single word is written about the fact that this is only about the standard mode, and the wild ranked wouldn’t count.

Issues with hero skins:

1.Diamond Genn Greymane appears blurry/jagged on mobile.(Alternatively, all Diamond skins appear blurrier on mobile devices compared to the PC version.)

2 .Arachnid Kerrigan’s in-combat avatar background incorrectly uses regular Kerrigan’s purple background on mobile and is missing its unique arrogant head-shaking entrance animation.

Thank you for your hard work. The display issue with Diamond Genn Greymane has been fixed, but the bug with Arachnid Kerrigan still persists. Please resolve it as soon as possible.

My phone models are: Samsung S23, S25U, and iQOO Neo10 Pro+. I’ve asked several friends, and they have also encountered this bug. Therefore, I suspect this bug is widespread rather than limited to specific models.

Rewind effects are still causing disconnections, but now, the sound is turned off permanently

Did a mage draft in underground arena.

After that I pressed “play” and it said “the selected deck is not valid for this game mode”. I checked my deck and the card “hidden objects” is marked as banned. How can I fix?

Alternate Reality doesn’t seem to be working in the pre-release brawl. My cards got discounted but not transformed.

Devious Coyote Isn’t well translated in french !
He’s reduce is cost when the enemy hero is damaged not yourself !

It ruined my strategy in Brawl…

Pls devs could you rewrite the french translation pls ?
