Patch 33.6 is upon us. Please find below our currently known issues, with updates to follow as we learn more. Thanks for your help raising any potential issues as you come across them!

Highlights & Info
  • :new: [Update October 22 - Ladder Ready Decks] Weā€™re aware that a small number of players are still experiencing issues after the latest Hotfix (33.6.3). If you still canā€™t dismiss the pop-up or canā€™t find your free deck, please read here.
  • :x: [Bans] These will be added to the drop-down menu below (the list is also mirrored here). If your Arena deck contains a banned card, you will need to retire it manually (your ticket should be refunded).

Tracked Issues
  • [Deck Builder] Fabled minionsā€™ companion cards are not added to the deck.
  • [Hearthstone] Players are not receiving their 2nd Golden Stormbrewer from The Lost City of Unā€™Goro Free Track (lvl 75) and their 2nd Golden Ravenous Devilsaur from The Lost City of Unā€™Goro Tavern Pass (lvl 25) - weā€™re investigating.
  • [Solo] Book of Heroes - Faelinā€™s Chellenge cannot be progressed past puzzle 3 (Challenge 15)
  • [Hearthstone] Playing Deadline does not progress Warlock Quest - Escape the Underfel
  • [Hearthstone] When Rewind is played simultaneously across multiple clients, players after the first to cast Rewind may experience delays.
  • [Hearthstone] During the Rewind effect, there are some unintended sound/video effects and board interactions possible.
  • [Battlegrounds] Friendly Bouncer does not summon a minion if hand is full.
  • [Mobile] The Journal cannot be opened on first login after updating. Restarting the game should fix this.
  • There is no ā€œdisconnectedā€ pop up when disconnecting from the internet.
  • [Shop] ā€œAlexstraszaā€ contains a typo in the shop. Update: Well, at least we didnā€™t misspell Hearthstone anywhere, like in a reward pop-up. PHEW
  • [Battlegrounds] Lord Barov can explode unexpectedly when using his hero power in specific circumstances.
  • [Tech] Weā€™re aware of reports of screen flickering and performance issues on Google Pixel 6 devices and are investigating.
  • [Hearthstone] Mirage granted from Spirit of the Badlands can permanently turn into a minion card if not played.
Resolved Issues

  • [Ladder Ready Decks] A small number of players have received duplicate decks after 33.6.3 hotfix. Weā€™ve decided to not remove these cards.

  • [Hearthstone] Players are getting stuck in the ladder ready system - our teams are actively investigating reported cases; please see the update in Highlights and Info.

  • [Hearthstone] After claiming their free Ladder Ready Deck, some players canā€™t see it in their Collection.

  • [Battlegrounds] Baby Elekk and Golden Hammer interaction behave differently from other cards, causing Baby Elekkā€™s stats to get lost after temporary golden effect ends

  • [Battlegrounds] ā€œShining Sailorā€ incorrectly triggers if it is refreshed into the tavern.

  • [Hearthstone] Some cardsā€™ effect do not work after the card has been drawn by Rewind.

  • [Battlegrounds] If you use Perfect Vision on a Beast minion, it no longer gains stats from Stomping Stegodonā€™s Rally effect.

  • [Battlegrounds] Hero Power no longer linked to correct buddy after Hero Power is replaced with a trinket or quest.

  • [Shop - Storm the Gates] - The Storm the Gates Signature cards were removed from the shop, as the cards will be added to the game on October 14th. The base card version will be obtainable during the in-game event ā€œChromieā€™s Chrono Catastropheā€; players that purchased Storm the Gates Signature cards before their removal from the Shop will be able to use them in their decks once the event is live.

    • [Update October 15] - The bundle is available again.

  • :white_check_mark: [Shop] A recent (note: sold between August 26 & September 2) Return to Wild bundle first went on sale with an incorrect description. Weā€™re working to grant players who made a purchase before this was corrected a random Wild Legendary card.

    • [Update] All grants have been completed.

  • [Shop] Weā€™ve identified and resolved a recent issue affecting gold purchases for players in the US. Transactions should now be processing normally. We are reviewing the impact on affected players and will share an update soon regarding next steps for those who may have lost gold during this time. Thank you for your patience, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
    • [Update - October 6] Weā€™ve reimbursed missing gold to players that were affected by this bug (it was active from September 26 to September 28).

  • [Choose Your Champion] - Missing Bonus Packs: Not a bug; the 2 additional Lost City of Unā€™Goro packs werenā€™t delivered just yet.
    • [Update - October 3] Packs have been delivered! Clarification: Please note that only wins in Standard ranked mode were considered for this event.

  • [MERCENARIES - September 30th] Mercenaries has temporarily been disabled while we work to address the underlying issue. Attempting to start a game will present a generic error message ā€œThere was an error starting your game. Please wait a few minutes and try againā€.

    • [Update - October 6] The mode is active.

  • [Battlegrounds] ā€˜Master Gadrinā€™ pre-rework ability applies in addition to his new ability

  • [Battlegrounds - Duos] Buddy Button win bonus reduction does not work for teammate that didnā€™t land the winning blow.

  • [Hearthstone] Rewinding with Portal Vanguard after attacking and killing an enemy minion rewinds game events too far, undoing previous attack.

  • [Hearthstone] We resolved an issue with Rewind causing a game crash.

  • [Cards] The new Rewind cards (Portal Vanguard, Semi-Stable Portal, Mr. Clocksworth) are causing disturbances in the timeline. To help reduce server instability, we are temporarily banning them. A server-only hotfix patch is scheduled for tomorrow to repair the timeline, re-enable these cards, and fix another crash issue, unrelated to Rewind. We appreciate your patience while Chromie stabilizes the timestream.

    • [UPDATE 1 - September 30th] - Weā€™re going to un-ban these cards shortly as the most recent hotfix shouldā€™ve addressed the original stability issue and repaired the timeline. Once the cards are playable, weā€™ll be closely monitoring our servers and weā€™ll intervene again should there be any issues.
    • [UPDATE 2] - Cards are now back in game. The timeline is being monitored.

  • [Hearthstone] Weā€™ve temporarily removed the VFX from Brawl and Badlands Brawler to prevent an issue causing crashes. Weā€™ll reenable it when the underlying issue is fixed in an upcoming patch.

    • [UPDATE 1 - OCtober 1st] VFX re-enabled.

  • [Hearthstone] Darkmoon Statue gets incorrect stats after being Corrupted

  • [Hearthstone] Weā€™re investigating reports of Elise the Navigator causing Disconnect with Dark Gift.

  • [Battlegrounds] Mounting Avalanche sometimes does not allow a target to be selected for the stat transfer.

  • [Shop] Disruptorā€™s Delight Signature Bundle: the related signature cards disappear after closing the game. :arrow_right: [Update] The issue was fixed, bundle re-activated, and missing cards have been granted to affected players.

  • Players only draw one card after playing Torga.

  • [Collection] Some players didnā€™t receive the Diamond Fyrakk, the Blazing from Golden Into the Emerald Dream Mini-Set. :arrow_right: [Update] Most affected players should already have received the card by now, but if you are still missing it after an eligible purchase ā€“ please submit a ticket for assistance here.

  • We are currently delivering the correct August card back (Gardens of the Lost city) to eligible players. Please note that you might see a notification with the wrong card back - this is just a visual bug.

  • [Battlegrounds] ā€œRapid Reanimationā€ (Teron Gorefiendā€™s Hero Power) summons minion in the incorrect place.

  • [Battlegrounds] Weā€™ve received reports that it is not possible inviting friends to Duos, adding them, or spectating them.

  • [Hearthstone] All You Can Eat is off its diet, sometimes eating minions of the same minion type.

  • [Hearthstone] Handbuffed Dormant minions fail to progress The Food Chain Quest.

  • [Battlegrounds] Tripling Lantern Lava wonā€™t reset its effect.

  • [Battlegrounds] Gilnean War Horn and Ghastly Mask can offer incorrect cards.

Still yet to see a diamond Fyrakk from a gold mini set in my collection manager. Its been well over a month or two. It was noted in the last patch as a ā€œtracked issueā€, but still no update.

Unable to except lvl 2 battle pass reward. It says I have to be lvl 2 but Iā€™m at lvl 10 and it wonā€™t let me accept it

I was saving for the audiopocalypse mini set for the past week, and now i noticed itā€™s gone from the in-game store, cant find it

How about Beasts are destroying every lobby in Duos? Test your game for literally one match before you release it please. Ban stegodon and let us have a playable game.

Lost Staff of Hamuul is bugged. When used on a minion in your warband, it offers an empty tavern (no minions or spells).

Game is not playable anymore - the balance in game doesnt exist XD I am sure you did not test a single game, comedy. No more pass will be bought - time to consider TFT :slight_smile:

+1 They actually closed last topic about bug report just after my message about unplayable game anymore cuz everyon abusing the beasts. I told there I feel like noone calculated the values and just said: all ok xd

I used the Lost Staff of Hamuul, which I bought early with Guiding Candle, on Bloodsnout Warlord, but no minions or spells appeared in the tavern afterward.

Mounting Avalanche is bugged. Once you use it, click a card to sell and that card sells, but you get an arrow and cant click on anything and cant escape out of it or right click to reverse it. If you do it at the start of your round like I, and from what I am gathering, most people did; then you lose out on all your gold spend and card buying that round so can get really behind in battlegrounds. Please just remove it as well as the I think 6 tier card that gives it.

King Krush pet breaks older board effects. I purchased the King Krush pet (Hearthstoneā€™s first cosmetic pet ). After I bought and equipped it, all previous board effects stopped functioning, except for the pet itself and the board effects for the latest expansion Journey Back to Unā€™Goro.

Had a bug where a transformed into magtheridon unreleased was stuck dormant and trigger twice each end.

Iā€™ve had this happen as well. First when selling a buffed up gladiator, second when selling a fireballer.

It seems that the whole Year of the Wolf mini-sets has disappeared from the shop.

In the last thread you shared that " * [Hearthstone] Classic card back is shown as the reward for the August 2025 Season." is fixed, but despite my 5+ wins I still donā€™t have the new cardback for August. When will it get distributed?

The Replicator-inator (5 mana neutral legendary) text: After you play a minion with the same Attack as this, summon a copy of it.
When he plays the Ancient of Yore, it summons another dormant Yore that infinitely dormant, gain armor and draw cards at the end of turn.
Even when Ancient of Yore is 7/7 (gained +2/2 from dark gift) while The Replicator-inator is 5/5 , it still summons another infinite dormant Yore.
