Did you take Advanced Construction out of Jim Raynor’s options then? Or how does that work? And does his hero power allow you to discover something with a fixed cost or does it act like a trinket where you have a shop to choose the upgrade?

The previous time for bgs definitely felt too short, now it seems a bit too long, im often sitting with 30-50s extra seconds of idle where before it felt like i was 20s short.
Could it be possible to kind of go for a in between to be a bit more fun?
I also feel like the change while meant for high apm plays doesn’t scale up with the higher time a game and 30 minute xp cap vs 40-50 minute bg game. Could it be possible for the xp cap to be raised for bgs just as long as actions are taking place with armor and longer animations?
It is a fun mode, just it has felt like the xp formula has capped too easily for bgs kinda leading to a counterintutitive feeling of wondering if one should surrender after 30m to optimize xp / slow games.

I’ve used your scan and repair only to be told no repairs are needed, what gives.
Dear Blizzard, I beg you, as a very competitive player in bg duos, it is now almost unplayble due to the new longer time between the rounds. If you aren’t playing apm camps, you’re basically waiting 120 sec more than needed every turn. It feels like an eternity and you just waste like a third of your time every game.
Everything else is great, i the patch is great!

Hey! What is “xp cap” ? I do love BGs, and have played for a long time, but still have no idea what this is or is it just something silly for cosmetics or stuff like that?
I feel like most of the issue with the Starcraft decks are the class specific support cards not the Starcraft cards themselves. That’s why you don’t see Zerg DH or Terran paladin. Deathrattle synergies from DK, hydration stations in warrior, the consistent draw engine in shaman, the giant/location synergies for warlock/hunter. Is weird no change to Protoss, ive played a lot of Protoss rogue and mage and ive had more angry friend requests playing these decks than any other. If Terran and Zerg are nerfed, Protoss OTK’s risk running wild. Jim Raynor could be a change, its the only hero that does nothing without synergy but strongest with it. Maybe if Raynor summoned a specific ship with all the effects like a 7-7 with 3 keywords, 2 marines, 2 damage aoe, 5 damage , 7 armor.
Kerrigan still op as hell in Battlegrounds lol, she is Curator on steroids.
Atleast Artanis or Raynor has to keep buying upgrades/cards for a while to get to a “potent” place…
even without upgrading her HeroPower, Kerrigan is still overwhelmingly op.
And now that base starting un-upgraded hero power got BUFFED?

I agree with most of this. It is sad that the most expensive mini set will have the shortest life, too synergy reliant. Artanis and Kerrigan are still strong cards alone, raynor is just 7mana change hero to 4-2 taunt doesn’t even spawn a hero power when played xD
I am mage enjoyer so i hope they dont change too much but i will admit it feels nasty when i win. Its not hard to stall and build a big colossus. If it wasnt for warrior gaining a million armor or eating your colossus with the tauren, or DK pulling it out with viper i think it will be one of most powerful decks.
The real issue with mage is arena i feel, even after the patch u still see a lot of protoss mage spamming spells and inevitable loss to colossus. Im mostly just salty though coz i never get offered protoss cards but all my opponents do xD

This is a good change the people that invested into the Starcraft miniset as well as cosmetics can enjoy it for a month more which is fair i feel and dont forget alot of people actualy enjoy the starcraft meta.
I also like that before rotation we are toning down power level some people are against but im for it because the first expansion of the year is usualy lower in power.
Also if the power level is lower it really makes it easier to introduce new cards because if the previous expansion is so strong the new cards wont see play and u really want a new expansion to be succesfull.
This wasnt the case last year because of how powerfull the precious expansion were.
Honestly nothing wrong with powerfull cards but this wil be very refreshing seeying powerfull lategame cards costing alot of mana being playable and we have alot of those in the emerald dream if we look at the Priest legendary for example.
I am really looking forward to the new expansion.
