Patch 31.4.1 is a server-side hotfix, rolling out now with the following bug fixes and game updates:
[Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where Inventor Boom could fail to resurrect a Battlecruiser if Battlecruisers that cost 5 or more mana and Battlecruisers that cost less than 5 mana have died. (Note: if you’ve had multiple Battlecruisers that cost 5 or more mana die, you will only resurrect up to one of them.)
[Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where Artanis’s Twin Blades Hero Power wasn’t buffed by Groovy Cat. (Note: This is a functional update, but the dynamic Hero Power text will be updated in our next text-update patch.)
[Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where Starships relaunched by Jim Raynor did not show their per-piece enchantments on hover.
[Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where, in Wild, Mage Protoss decks could Discover spells from other classes.
[Battlegrounds] Turn timers are being reduced back to their normal times.
[Battlegrounds] Trade Prince Gallywix has been returned to the Hero Pool, but is now banned from Elementals lobbies.
[Battlegrounds] Fixed a bug where Bazaar Dealer’s effect could get consumed by buying a minion.
[Battlegrounds] Fixed a bug where Reverber Drake/Echoing Roar, Hunter of Gatherers, and Efficient Engineer would result in too many effect triggers. (Note: There are still a few edge-case issues with this interaction that we’re targeting to fix in the next major patch, 31.6.)
[Battlegrounds] Fixed a bug where King Bagurgle gave +3/+3 instead of his updated +3/+4.
[Battlegrounds] After these bug fixes, Reverber Drake, Echoing Roar, and Bazaar Dealer have returned to the minion pool.
[Progression] Fixed a bug where players did not get the correct January 2025 ranked rewards if they didn’t play any Twist for the season, but their highest rank was their carry-over Twist rating. Some affected players have already been granted replacement rewards when this issue was first identified, we will be doing another pass for any further replacement rewards needed after this patch goes live.
Update: The issue during rollout has been resolved and this patch has been fully deployed.
On mobile so didn’t scroll through posts, was shudderblock+Raynor’s interaction considered a bug where they could deal damage to face multiple times during the 3x launch?
It doesn’t give stats when any keyword does anything, it goes off when a keyword is removed from a unit, which is why divine shield, venomous, and stealth trigger it - they disappear when they’re used.
Taunt can be removed by that one minion with windfury that removes taunt and reborn (I forget the name offhand). I’m not sure if the OP is talking about that or not.
This is either intended or really hard to code so that it doesn’t work.
Shudderblock: Battlecry: Your next Battlecry triggers 3 times, but can’t damage the enemy hero.
How I understand this is that Raynors: Battlecry in effect is just the “relaunch every starship that you launched this game” part, the launch effects of starships are not tied to Raynors battlecry and therefore don’t count as part of “Your nextBattlecry” from Shudderblock, but instead as just launch effects.
This is true for any battlecry that triggers another effect/card, I remember getting owned with Sasquawk: “Battlecry: Repeat each card you played last turn” back when Malted Magma still hit face as well, they played 2 spell damage 1 mana minions 3x Malted Magma for 9 damage to my face and board, next turn they play Miniaturized Shudderblock into Sasquatch and got +5 spell damage and 9 Malted Magma’s into my face for 9+15+18=42 damage.
Shudderblock is not remotely balanced if you know how to abuse it.
