Patch 31.2.1 is a server-side patch rolling out now with the following bug fixes and updates:
[Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where either player getting a Libram of Divinity to 0 mana caused animations to play slowly.
[Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where spells’ internal cost reduction effects didn’t work with other mana cost related cards when drawn via a Spellburst effect. (For example, Sunsapper Lynessa not doubling a 1-cost Holy Glowsticks after it was drawn by Ethereal Oracle).
[Battlegrounds] Fixed a bug where Golden Tea Master Theotar didn’t provide buffs after his first sip of tea. He will be returned to the minion pool after this patch has fully rolled out.
[Battlegrounds] Fixed a bug where a Rerolled Hero could be offered to another player in the lobby.
[Battlegrounds] Fixed a bug where Moonsteel Juggernaut’s end of turn effect didn’t improve between triggers when triggered twice by Drakkari Enchanter.
[Battlegrounds Duos] Fixed a bug where a player could be offered Cho or Gall when the other half is in the locked Heroes for their partner.
[Twist] Banned the Warcraft Rumble cards (Warsong Grunt, Footman, Night Elf Huntress, and Gnomelia, S.A.F.E. Pilot) from this Twist season. They didn’t do anything wrong, they just aren’t supposed to be part of the Wonders card pool.
I can’t understand how a bug like this can stay for DAYS. There was a bug with packs in the past (you get more legendarys than you should) and it was fixed in HOURS. Sad where the priority is these days.
The team should fix game crushing bugs a lot faster!!!
The part of the game affected by a bug has no correlation to how difficult it is to fix. The only thing we as users can be sure of is that server-side bugs can often be fixed faster than client bugs, because they don’t want to make people constantly patch their client. Other than that: simple problems can be incredibly complex to fix and vice versa. Only the development team knows the full story.
One would assume that adjusting the probability of packs is a much simpler fix than a game breaking bug that happens under very unique and unusual circumstances. Imagine how much testing it would have taken just to figure out how to replicate the bug, much less figure out how to fix it.
