Patch 31.0 is now live, kicking off the Great Dark Beyond Pre-Release Tavern Brawl and more! As we set off into the unknown, mission control has identified a few issues for us to resolve.
Here are some issues we’re tracking this patch:
- [Resolved] [Tavern Brawl] Players on the EU and APAC servers were delayed in getting access to the Pre-Release Tavern Brawl. Those issues have now been resolved and those players are cleared to launch!
- [Resolved] [Tavern Brawl] The pop-up for the Tavern Brawl says that it costs 2 Tickets even the first time you enter it (but the first entry is still free for all players).
- [Resolved] [In-Game Events] The team is aware of an issue where the Weekly Event Quest did not roll over when expected. We will be extending the event end-date until November 12, 9 a.m. (PT) to give players more time to complete the Event Track. That also means the spooky box decorations will be extended a bit into the launch of The Great Dark Beyond—where no one can hear you scream.
- [Resolved] [Hearthstone] Orbital cards don’t trigger their “adjacent card played” effects when the adjacent card replaces itself (like the Perils in Paradise Drink spells).
- [Resolved] [Hearthstone] Titan minions don’t work with Exarch Akama’s effect.
- [Resolved] [Hearthstone] Ace Wayfinder’s effect doesn’t apply to the next Draenei if triggered by Velen.
- [Resolved] [Hearthstone] Gravity Lapse doesn’t work as intended with Astral Automatons.
- [Resolved] [Hearthstone] Doommaiden’s effect returns Cast When Drawn cards at end of turn after they’ve been cast.
- [Resolved] [Hearthstone] The team is investigating various bugs causing periods of the board becoming uninteractable, including sometimes clicking on the enemy Starship’s UI.
- [Resolved] [Hearthstone] Druid of the Claw and Raven Idol are no longer banned in Standard, Wild, and Tavern Brawl .
- [Resolved] [Hearthstone] The team is aware of a bug where Titan abilities sometimes trigger incorrectly.
- [Resolved] [Hearthstone] Scrapbooking Student sometimes doesn’t work with Galaxy’s Lens.
- [Edited 10/30] [General] The team is investigating reports of the reconnect sometimes not working as expected and instead leading to concessions. Reports are indicating that closing the client by pressing alt-f4 or the close button in the corner (or swiping the app away on mobile) work fine and that the issue is ONLY when closing the client by pressing Escape or clicking the Gear button to go to the quit button.
- [Updated 11/18] [Battlegrounds] The team is investigating reports of non-responsive clients in Battlegrounds. It appears this is an issue with players disconnecting from the server; emoting will reconnect you to the server and should resolve the hiccup.
- [Added 10/31] [Hearthstone] If the minion summoned by Moldara’s Spore is transformed, future copies copy the transformed minion.
- [Added 11/8] [Collection] Some players were not properly granted the Diamond Reno Jackson for completing the “Raiders of the Lost Cards” Achievement. Most of those players were previously corrected and granted the Diamond Reno, but some were previously missed and have now had the card granted.
- [Resolved] [Hearthstone] The Ceaseless Expanse is no longer banned in Wild.
- [Added 11/19] [Battlegrounds] Battlegrounds reveals on the official Card Library are showing as having mana costs instead of Tiers. You can still sort by Tier to see them in their correct grouping. These visuals will be corrected in a future update.
- [Added 11/22] [Hearthstone] If either player has a Libram of Divinity reduced to 0 mana, it causes animations to slow down. We have a fix identified for the next hotfix window.
Battlegrounds Pool Changes
- Sleeping Sea Glass has been removed from Duos.
- Aggem Thorncurse has been removed from the Minion Pool.
November 4 Update
We’ve launched a client-side hotfix with the following bug fixes and updates. It can be downloaded once available on your device’s storefront (at time of posting, iOS still pending).
- [Hearthstone] Fixed a bug that caused the board to become un-interactable in various circumstances.
- [Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where playing certain Druid Choose One cards could cause a crash.
- [Progression] Fixed a bug where some players’ Weekly Event Quest didn’t unlock when it was supposed to. The event (and its spooky Tavern decorations) will be extended for all players until November 12, 9:00 a.m. PST.
Update: This has now rolled out to all devices.
