See my amended note. I agree with you, but I think their patch notes talking about Renethal is what confused me as to their meaning of “play rate”. Why bring up Renethal if “play rate” is an issue and “deck inclusion” is not?
They are not saying the same thing for Renathal.
They didn’t say play rate for it. They said “popular and powerful” and “outlier”.
Renathal is completely different because it’s power comes from the Start of Game effect and not it’s effect when played.
They did practically nothing. Hunter is still gonna be top tier, just not all powerful, and theo will still be played like crazy.
“Nerf Hunter to the ground” might be popular, but not what they wanted, as they expressed in the patch notes. Mage has 2 decks in the 53% ball park (Bronze-Gold), so there’s that.
Meanwhile, have fun with Imp Curse Warlock and the Mgrgrlgrgrl Guy.
thx for the heads-up. Naga Nerf Priest?
They will aim at mage next. 53% will never be allowed… So glad I left Standard.
And Zilliax couldn’t Highroll enough to just WIN GAMES ON THE SPOT
MAYBE THERE’S A DIFFERENCE HERE
I’ll take and upload a screenshot but looking at this meta as of now and since the patch mage ought to be safe for now.
