+200% difficulty for +20% reward

Either way i will edit my post and remove some parts. I dont know why i still bother. I still dont understand the arguments you made. Everything contradicts eachoter at some points. But i dont care enough anymore to get into a discussion about it.
Genuinly sry to draw your attention with my reply it wont happen again.

It may not be terrible, but when that XP is your main source of gold to play the game, and you’ve now got to spend however long it’s going to take to cast 60 mini or miniaturize minions, it really gets in the way of your enjoying the game by playing the decks you’d really rather be playing.
I just finished my 3 quests with Nozdormu in my deck, 3 games I wouldn’t have otherwise played. Playing enough for 60 mini’s I don’t even want to think about how long that’ll take me, or the remaining 12 Tavern Brawls I’ve now got to win, which will be 14 more than I usually spend time winning.
Yeah, put me in the nay column for this change.

I’m sorry, but lying lips and kidding keyboards don’t count. You vote with your feet, not your words. So unless you’re quitting, they’re going to put you in the yay column.

So they are abandoning the promises made when the new rewards track was implemented that players would earn the same (or better) rewards under the new system with the same game play. That’s disappointing. No… not just disappointing; it’s infuriating.

That’s friggin’ bullcrap! Not your analysis; I think you’re probably spot on. It’s bullcrap that Blizzard is making their customers suffer because they are failing to put in the necessary effort to combat this “alleged” bot problem.

The quests are definitely catered to people like me that play a lot and will complete them just by playing anyway.

That being said, it’s still dumb. Why hurt your very casual players?

And some of the quests are ridiculous. I haven’t rerolled a quest in a long time except for Noz quest… but 60 minis? Lol are you kidding? You have to go out of your way to complete that, you don’t complete it by playing normally. Unreal.

Quests should be catering to causal players who might play an hour a day at most… not to people who spend a lot of time in game.

You want more people playing the game, not less.

The people who created the new quests are so out of touch of their player base. Completely clueless.

I want to know why they are so detached from their players. How does this change even get approved? Who’s giving the nod? That’s where the problem is.

It’s almost like someone’s trying to destroy the game. What is the conspiracy?!

If you aren’t paying money, then you aren’t the customer. If you aren’t paying money, then you’re the product the actual customer enjoys.

That’s awfully simplistic, as though free players don’t make money for the company aside from being roadkill.

…what part of “free” are we not understanding here?

You don’t know what “free player” colloquially means in an online game?

At any rate, my point is they serve more in terms of profits than being that which paying players steamroll. That’s all.

It’s an interesting perspective, but less than what I see free players as.

Small problem–bots are on 24/7. Making quests 3 times more difficult makes it that much faster for a bot to keep up with a player since they are actually able to sink in the hours required to get 60 miniaturize cards played in a week and more.

And so, the outrage begins to spread…

Yes yes… I saw this. That’s crappy, too. But let me say this… I was a regularly paying player for quite some time. Not high paying, but paying… maybe a couple hundred a year. In recent years, however, I’ve not been paying because of their refusal to implement an auto-squelch feature. This change is certainly not going to push me to be a paying player. And, more importantly, it’s not going to change the way I play. I will continue to play with about the same play frequency and pattern I’ve always played. The only affect here is that I will earn less gold and fewer packs… which will likely result in a lower overall entertainment quotient… which over time could result in me playing less and less… which is the exact opposite of their desired outcome.

Also, not one single word of explanation from Blizzard except for an extremely (and intentionally) vague one-sentence notification buried in patch notes about as deep as it could be.

Bots have never and will never go out of their way to complete any quest. They have literally zero impact on bot behavior and a large impact on the behavior of foolish humans.

The only point of the reward is to make humans do it.

Im quite surprised it took people this long to notice, i thought when reset happened monday for weeklies that everyone would be on here asking why
15 wins for Ranked
15 wins in TB,Arena, Battlegrounds
400 Damage to enemy heros
40 hero power uses

The list goes on and on with the nonsense quests, and if you dont feel like playing ranked, you still only have 1 reroll a day so playing casually will cost alot of FTP players their time to build decks just to complete these

Hell, i plan to build a hero power deck with mage just to shoot damage at myself to get the 40 done, so at least i have 1 done

How completely ridiculous of you. But hey you have a right to be completely ridiculous with your money.

I’m just saying Auto squelch is never going to happen , and never should happen. Just squelch them at the beginning of every match.

Imagine if I unironically started a boycott because I had a problem with the green End Turn button, and argued that it should be pressed automatically as soon as the player has no further options. That’s you.

The essence of the argument isn’t that bots will actively seek to finish quests. It’s rather that bots operate without regard to time constraints in the same manner as humans do; they will complete longer quests just as efficiently as shorter ones. As a result, they’ll accrue more experience and consequently, more gold. While this effect may seem minor, it still provides an advantage to bots.

While this argument lacks validity in addressing any specific issue, it seems people are eager to find any reason to criticize Blizzard. Can’t blame them.

You are being ignorant. If you had no weekly quests on Sunday, on Monday you got new ones with the old numbers and on Tuesday if you still had any they changed the numbers.

Not ignorance, just surpised on reactions, but still knowing that this is the blizzard way of things

But wait, there’s more!..
