I just realized you don’t get the skins, card back and Coin for just buying the $20 Pass, you still have to level up and unlock them after that… LOL
For someone who almost only plays Battlegrounds now I’m thinking I might have just completely wasted $20
You get around 300xp per hour playing battlegrounds (xp capped at half hour per game) so playing BGs will still allow you to earn your rewards
Seen in another thread if you have the tavern pass your bonus xp increases as you level up also
So did 2 quests and at level 8 I feel OP
I dunno about including BG perks with the pass. Some people only play modes outside of BG. Some people may only play BG. If the passes are separate, it’s cheaper for both of those kinds of players. There’s only a loose overlap between the passes right now. Getting more exp means you get that extra exp for every BG game. Getting four heroes instead of two as well as early BG heroes gets you more wins for more exp. I think they removed arena tickets from BG perks, so that’s no longer an overlap.
You’ve just re-worded your last point which I rebutted already.
As I said, it’s easier for mega-popular (Hearthstone doesn’t hold a candle to Fortnite) to give more generous passes as they have massively-bigger install bases.
Additionally, you could argue Fortnite has a younger playerbase than Hearthstone so their monetization model reflects that (I.E. young children have less purchasing power). 
Do quests/etc still reward you with gold once completed? I’m sure this is a blonde question but it’s the only thing I’m confused about.
What if you have like 110 gold? Will you always have an extra 10 gold or do you still get 10 for every 3 wins?
They give xp now, which levels you up in the reward track. Each level has a prize, some levels you get gold as a reward.

Ok, so even with the premium 20% exp booster, you still need around 1000 (yes youre reading it correctly, ONE THOUSAND) hours to go from level 50 to the level 150 cap. Assuming 100 days expansion cycle, thats 10 hours EVERY DAY. Good job Blizzard further incentivizing botting, beacause thats the only way to reach it. Normal pleb players do not need to even try.
I assume level 150 wasn’t intended to be an achievable goal. Even streamers would struggle to reach it

We are forced to be playing longer but the total reward “if you manage to get it” does not exceed the gold you can save until the launch of a new expansion.
Forces us yes or yes to invest real money to get the number of cards you need “if before it was difficult now they made it impossible” Pay to Win.
Being a free to play game they should give all players the same opportunities to get all the cards without investing real money this makes it competitive, they could get their income in cosmetics like other free to play.
Conclusion the game buried players who can only invest a little time and as in my case this 2020 was devastating with this update, thanks for these 6 years one less player.

There is no point, as of this time. Maybe they’ll add rewards later for reaching certain numbers. Only the achievements marked with a treasure chest give meaningful rewards.
