In addition to a description of the bug you are reporting, please provide:
When in a hidden lair I think you should be able to leave anytime. There’s no way to leave unless you run the entire hidden lair. It should be like an elder rift or challenge rift where you can leave if you want. Please fix that!!

You can leave any time you want.
At the bottom left of the mini-map, there’s a little door symbol.
Click that and you’ll create a portal to zone out of the lair back to the map it was on.
You can even use a town portal from inside a hidden lair to go to town and salvage or whatever and come back to the lair or leave it if you don’t want to keep doing it.
