Vaque and Misleading descriptions of Bundles

Hallowed Mystery Master Bundle. I needed a complete description of what is included in this product. If I read it correctly besides the crests, it includes 6 Legendary Gems with one of the 6 being chosen randomly? A total of 6
In this thread Purchased the shadow's haul bundle but only received one 5-star gem. The bundle should contain 6 5-star gems
The Shop description in this thread says “one from a “pool”, but when you click on the chest it says [quote=“Meteorblade-2266, post:2, topic:280”]
When used, select six 5-Star Bound Legendary Gems (Quality 2).
One of the six gems will be randomly obtained.

The Latest Hallowed Mystery Master Bundle says (I’ll include a screenshot if someone will show me how) “Limited-Time Bundle! Get Masterwork Gem Random Chest and Legendry Crests. Limited to one purchase” Thats it. Then when you mouse over the chest description it says " When Used, select Six 5 Star Legendry Gems (Quality 2). One of the Six Gems will randomly be obtained.” If this is not correct, your advertisement is false/mis-leading. Ad should state somewhere “You will only receive ONE GEM!”
I think $50 is way too much for one random Gem and some crests. Besides the deception, the worst part was Blizzard Staff did not know what is in these bundles. Ultimately took 5 days to get my money back.

Hallowed Mystery Master Bundle (£37.99)…

The wording on the Random chest makes it perfectly clear that you select six legendary gems (from the pool of all the 5-star gems in the game) and that you’ll get one of them randomly selected from the six you selected.

Hallowed Choice Master Bundle (£75.99)…

The wording on the Selection chest lets you pick one 5-star legendary gem (from the pool of all the 5-star gems in the game) and that’s the one you get.

There’s no deception. No wording indicates that you’d get six legendary gems. Also, why would you expect the cheaper chest to give you six 5-star gems, when the more expensive chest gives you just one?

It’s not Blizzard’s fault if players don’t read the descriptions of what they’re buying.

It Says “When used, Select Six…One of the Six Gems will be randomly obtained.” It does not say, “You will receive only One of the Six!”. Which would be the clearest and easiest way to say it, but it doesn’t sell as many products. If what you say is true, why say Six at all?? "Hey pay $50 bucks and we’ll send you what we want. Doesn’t say anything about any “pool”. Are you the guy that wrote the ad and or description? In the South this is what we call a “Slipadictame”. It’s a special operation / Wording commonly used by untrustworthy sorts. To give the impression of one thing but meaning another. The Websters definition is “Deceptive”.

Because there are currently 21 5-star gems in the game. The chest allows you to select 6 of those 21 gems and then, at random, you get 1 of the 6 you selected.

The wording is…

One of the six gems will be randomly obtained.

When the wording specifically says you will obtain one gem, from the six you selected, how did you get the impression that you’d obtain all six gems that you selected?

You got one legendary gem, randomly selected from the six you chose from the 21 gems that are in the game.
In other words…

  • It said exactly what you would get.
  • You got exactly what it said you would get.

You got exactly what it said you’d get. How is that deceptive?

Do you speak English? Change your wording to be more specific!

Please stop trolling. The description is as clear and transparent as it can be. If you can’t comprehend what the description means than you need to improve your english.

Yes.

That’s why, when reading this…

One of the six gems will be randomly obtained.

…I would not expect to get six gems.

More specific than how it already tells you that you will get one of the six gems you selected?

This is not a wording problem.
It’s a reading comprehension problem.

Yes it does. Those are same thing.

Because you select six candidates as part of the process.

If I were you, I’d stow the speaking English criticisms. In English, it explains exactly what it does.

I comprehend just fine and English pretty good too. I’ve certainly wasted my breath.

So, you read…

One of the six gems will be randomly obtained.

And your comprehension resulted in…

Again, the issue isn’t the wording.

You’re absolutely right I/we should dissect every word and how they are arranged. Because THIS ad is written in a way that if you’re not careful reading the description, could give you the perception you’re getting something you’re not, like myself and others. Thus, the purpose of this post.

Yes, that’s how reading comprehension works.

Again, as it literally says you will receive ONE gem, if you got the perception that you would get SIX gems, for a price less than the bundle that gives you one specific gem, that is not a wording problem, that’s a comprehension problem.
