I used to be able to Report & Block spam advertisements. I must have done it a hundred times in the last year. But in the last month or so, I have been unable to block these fake players. Most of the time it allows me to submit a report but is it effective? Not really. The spammers are still spamming my world chat, making it very hard to see any real conversations or open invites. I do not want to block world chat. Thats stupid and just ignore the problem. I want to be able to play the game and interact with other real humans without having to sort through non-stop nonsense.

The problem with World Chat Spammers (aside from the TOS Violating bots) is that for each one you block, 5 more are made… the older accounts are probably banned or muted, some will be forgotten… You can probably purge your blocked list and restart the blocking process… But you only have a max of 100 block accounts iirc

I really wish I had the option to block just single words, much like the language filters that the game has built in.
First words I’d block in World Chat would be plat, platinum and Orbs.

Thank you for both of the above posts. I didn’t realize there was a limit. That should solve the issue. And I too wish we could block that kind of language as well. That would solve it for awhile at least…
