Stuck at the first, completed Helliquary quest for months AFTER completing it!

Hello!
My issue is being stuck in a quest in Diablo Immortal: I killed the first demon, but no demonic remains were awarded and I am unable to upgrade the Helliquary and progress in the game at all! The Helliquary itself is not reactive, I’m being told to put the demonic remains into the Helliquary chest, but there are no demonic remains to be had and I’m unable to partake in quests to get new ones! It’s been lasting for months!

Device: 2022 ipad Air
OS: iOS 18
Diablo Immortal version: all versions since August 2024

This is a complained about issue and sadly the only thing to do is to start again. When given the remain from the first challenge rift you are allowed to salvage it in error causing your account progression
