Using a Dragon familiar, my legendary Soul Shield is huge in PVE and small but noticeable in PVP, but in Castle Defense I see nothing (like zero shield). Has anyone noticed it may be bugged in Castle Defense?
Perhaps check pet setting in Armory to see if it’s either passive or aggressive setting.
I have a Broodtalon as well with legendary Soulshield, Tenacity and Savior. I’ll try it out tonight in Castle Defense and see if it’s working or not. Get back to you on it.
That would be great thanks! I tested a few times and no Soul Shield appears in Castle Defence (at least in endless)
I tested for the Soul Shield in about 8 minutes worth of Endless. It was as far as I could go solo.
In that time, I saw a bluish-purple shield appear twice. it was very brief, no more than 2 seconds duration. It was faint and looked to be somewhat smaller than shields I normally see from things like Gladiator Cheat Death or Shields from Dash skills.
As I have no skills, attributes or gear that provides any sort of shield, the only source for the short-term shield had to be from my Broodtalon. And although I only saw it trigger twice (despite my earnest attempts to sustain damage/die), it’s possible that with all the effects, other times it triggered may have been missed in the clutter.
BTW, I have my pet set on Aggressive. I did not try it on Passive.

Thanks. This confirms that soul shield ‘does not’ work in Castle defence. The familiar soul shield doesn’t appear on the character, but applies a white bar (aka shield) on the health bar that you can’t miss in PVE.

Oh! Damn. I didn’t think to look for that. I have definitely seen a white bar under the health bar but until you mentioned it last post, i never knew its source.
Let me have another look now that I know what I’m looking for.
