Samsung S25 Ultra Graphics issues

Hi. I recently changed phones to a Samsung S25 Ultra. After changing phones, the graphics often become darker like no lights for a few minutes and then back to normal again. I’ve already tried reinstalling apps, but the problem persists. The graphics settings are the same as on my iPhone 14 Pro, but I didn’t have this problem on my iPhone. Anyone having same issues like me?

Device Type: Android
Device Model: Samsung S25 Ultra
Device Operating System: One UI 7
Diablo Immortal App Version: 3.2.1

I have the same problem on my S25 Ultra. The latest game updates did not fix the problem. The screen still goes dark. The problem only occurs in Diablo Immortal and no graphics settings help. App version 3.3.0

Hi friends. I’m having the exact same problem. I upgraded from my S23 Ultra to an S25 Ultra, and I’m experiencing the same issue you described in any video setting. I hope it gets resolved soon.

Hello friends, after many attempts I managed to configure the game to stop having this bug, and in fact it hasn’t happened again. The graphic configuration that I’m going to provide not only solves this, but also, at least in my case, achieved a reduction in battery consumption.

Within the game settings, under ‘Display’, select ‘HD mode’, ‘Classic image mode’, screen brightness 50%. Then, within ‘Graphics’, ‘FPS 30’, resolution ‘High’, sharpness ‘off’, visual effects ‘high’, shadows ‘high’, fog ‘high’, post-processing ‘disabled’, anti-aliasing ‘to each person’s preference, I use it disabled to save phone battery’, environment detail ‘high’, monster effects ‘high’, liquid dynamics ‘low’, water effects ‘low’, bloom effects ‘disabled’, enhanced reflections ‘disabled’, ray tracing ‘enabled’, reduce PvP effects ‘enabled’

Finally, within the Samsung Game Booster, I use the battery saving profile, I don’t use customization for Diablo Immortal, motion smoothness in games ‘60 Hz’

With this configuration, I stopped having visual problems in the game, and also I notice that even though the game settings aren’t at the lowest, the battery consumption is better than setting everything to ‘low’ which is the cause of the visual bug that makes the game dark. I hope you can do your tests and verify this to establish it as a definitive solution.
Regards!

Thanks for sharing bro! Will try this :+1:

I just switched to regular Samsung S25 but the larger storage option, and i have same issues. I have tried adjusting any settings related to how the game renders or displays aspects if lighting, shadows and blur. Its been triggering at spots that the lighting change, like westmarch just below the crift and erift entrances there is corridor heading south towards gem vendor etc, at start of corridor under normal game lighting expected there is a clear line where a shadow section starts. You can hop in and out if light/shadow and trigger it. Also menus will trigger it, and to like 3 seperate degree of lighting, erift menu when clicking its entrance triggers, as well as crift one. You can toggle opening each one and the lighting will change up and down. Main thing a i noticed different with those menus as well as near the battle ground guy, which triggers near the corner, is the screen has a blur effect for the background where its bright looking off the landing so to speak. Erift and crift menus, one is a full screen menu, the other has a blurred out frame edging. This is why i been trying to narrow it down to likely some setting between phone or game that affects various aspects of light in game. Many people with s25 are having this issue. Used s21 previously and still have it, never noticed this happening. One youtuber that posted his experience with a s25 ultra as a video mainly regarding the phones overall feel and perfirmance review, but he plays diablo immortal also and uses it as his demo, at 8:22 i think it was he screen does what is happening to mine. He comments this has been consistenly happening and had not found a solution as if then. I posted there also in comments asking if he had after posting that video 2 months ago, found a solution as if yet and when inlast checked it was updated and bunch of people had thumbed up my comment, so this mist be relatively common.
UPDATE
I used the above mentioned setting setup and so far so good been a couole hours and hasnt happened anywhere. Thanks

The above guide doesn’t work for me. I found out that in the GameBooster app you have to change the refresh from 120Hz to 60Hz and set the same to 60Hz in the game. Only this solved the problem.
