Had sound when I logged in today, then none.
Might be related: saw an embedded icon in a clan chat from a player that said ‘Click to Listen 15 s’. I was curious and had never seen that before so I clicked it. I beleive that’s where the no sound issue started. And I heard nothing when I clicked it. Did this embedded object disable my sound in Diablo?
All other sounds on my PC work fine. It’s only this game where there’s none.
EDIT/UPDATE:
Went into Windows/Sound/ app settings and found Diablo Immortal volume set to zero, reset it to 100%. Returned to game, still no sound.
Clicked on client update - took quite a while but game downloaded quite a few files from each zone, unpacked and installed them.
Sat in Westmarch and then saw another embedded sound clip in World Chat. This one siad 2 seconds. Clicked it and voila! Suddenly I have sound and music again.
Not sure which of these fixed the issue. Might be a combination of all three. Horribly frustrating to mess with my computer over 6 hours to fix something caused by the game.
