New event bug thank you blizzard

this morning before 10:30 I used 100 leg crests and got only 2 gems, no new gems, then at 11:00 the event was closed and reopened at 12:00, what kind of bug was that. I will never believe that from 100 leg crest you can only get guaranteed every 50

RNG is RNG. Did you use all the same types of crests?

Yes I use unbound leg crest

So you got the 2 guaranteed drops for 50 crests each. You also somehow managed to fail both 50% rolls for the new gem. That’s horrendous bad luck.

There are many people in my clan who also used many leg crests immediately after the update (100+) and received gems only every 50 lc, I saved up these lc for 3 months, I can’t believe that there were no bugs!!!

Bad luck isn’t a bug…

  • Chance that a legendary crest will give you a 5-star gem = 4.5% = 0.045
  • Chance that a legendary crest will not give you a 5-star gem = 95.5% = 0.955
  • Chance that none of X legendary crests will give you a 5-star gem = (0.955)^X
  • Chance that none of 49 legendary crests will give you a 5-star gem = (0.955)^49 = 0.104752695

So, roughly 1 in 10 players would not get a 5-star in 49 legendary crests.
