Once again, neither I, nor anyone in my clan that I could get in contact so far, got the splash screen for the event.
If you guys can’t make sure everyone sees it, at least include the event and its duration in the update notes. Or on the events screen.

It ends on 22nd October.
However, that could mean it ends at 03:00 (server) on the 22nd so to be safe you should probably get your mirrored run done by Monday 21st.
I agree that this info should just be available on the Elder Rift portal.
Also, as F2P players don’t generally have 10 legendary / eternal legendary crests in stock to be able to fully take the benefit of this event, giving 1-2 weeks notice that it’ll be happening in the patch notes would be very helpful, rather than just logging in mid-week to find the event active, after having used up the crests we get from embers / warband token already on Monday / Tuesday.

We want to correct an issue with, and clarify the event duration for the Mirrored Jewels event.
The event that started today will continue until Oct 21 at 3 AM Server Time. The Exclusion Drop Pool will continue to be available until November 6th.
I’m sorry for the confusion. We’re working to correct this in-game as soon as we can.

I’m annoyed because I’ve already done my 3 10c for the week. This is why having it avail on monday is key. Because it lets everyone get rewards to the fullest but oh well.
I always have 20 spare LC standby and glad it paid off…

The in-game information says the event ends on the 22nd October.
We took that to mean 03:00 (server) on the 22nd, that’s the very early hours of Tuesday morning, i.e. people will have to get their run done by Monday.
If you’re now saying the event ends at 03:00 (server) on the 21st, that’s the very early hours of Monday morning, i.e. people will have to get their run done by Sunday.
If it actually ends at 03:00 on Monday morning, that means those of us that didn’t have a stock of crests ready can’t even use the reset to get some more from embers / WB tokens.
Please actually clarify which day this ends on.

I think it’s a problem when several people works on same stuff. One puts Monday, another puts Tuesday.

You guys really arguing the date? Just do your Mirrored Jewel event 2 days earlier or something. Why wait last minute? It is not like you can produce emergency 10 LC within 1 week as F2P players.
If you are spender, why not buy the LC now instead of waiting until the deadline only to buy LC to use for Mirrored Jewel event.

Because, as a F2P player, having been given no advance notice that the event was going to be happening, they might not have 10 legendary / eternal legendary crests in stock. The event went live on a Wednesday, i.e. two days after they might have already run all of their Elder Rifts, and used the Embers to craft an Eternal Legendary Crest. They’ve bought their Legendary Crest from the NPC, and done their WB raids to get a token to buy an Eternal Legendary Crest from the NPC. And then they’ve used them on Monday / Tuesday because they quite literally have no knowledge that this event will be happening until it’s announced when they log into game on Wednesday. If the event ran until 03:00 on Tuesday morning, that would at least let them earn some crests on Monday. Having it end at 03:00 on Monday morning means the event ends before the reset allows them some opportunity to have some crests to use in it. Also, there are two Events going live tomorrow - The Conqueror and The Fractured Plane - and they might have crests as rewards (can’t remember if they do or not). If you’re an Immortal, and you’ve reached Iron I dominance, you might be waiting on having enough Hilts to buy the Legendary Crest from the Hilts NPC.
Which is exactly why they should give 1-2 weeks’ notice of these mirrored events so that their F2P players at least have a chance of having 10 crests ready for them.
As it stands, I currently have just 2 Legendary Crests in stock. If there are any available from the two Events opening tomorrow, I’ll get those. But by ending this at 03:00 on Monday morning, it means the Legendary Crests / Eternal Legendary Crests I could have obtained from Elder Rifts and Raids will not be available during the event. That means I get 2 legendary gems doubled, rather than 6 legendary gems doubled.
The lack of notice is bad. Ending the event, after springing it on us without notice, and then changing the end date to not include the first day of the next reset, just makes it even worse.
My post is referring to the ending date argument though. It makes no difference whether it end 1 day early or not, which is my point.
Indeed. Last Mirrored Jewel was 20+ days. So I think people should always have 10 LC on spare.
It makes a huge difference to F2P players.
If the event ended at 03:00 on Tuesday (as the event originally announced) then they could earn some Legendary / Eternal Legendary Crests on Monday, after the weekly reset. As the event ends at 03:00 on Monday, they can’t.
The way it was originally announced, F2P had some way to earn crests for the event.
As it’s been amended, they don’t.
Same here. Though I got pitiful 1* and 2* gems last mirror event, this time it gave me 2 pairs of 5* gems. I guess the drops depend also on luck.
F2p here, I run 3 10c runs a week to cap my embers, because of the shortened date ive had to burn 10 c that I would have saved to run on monday for embers on the new week. I’d already run my 3 10c with blues on earlier in the week. You say ‘why wait last min’ well many do their 10c early which is the issue with shortening the event because most have already done so

The point is whether they got the date wrong or not, it hardly going to change anything for F2P players. If the event ended on Monday at 3 AM, it is not like F2P players going to buy LC with real money for this event.
If the event ends on Tuesday 3AM, congrats, they can get the weekly LC on Monday and that also assumes that they are only short of 2-3 LC, not 10 LC.
Kilo are you a F2P? since you seem to know how it works for the rest of us?
