In addition to a description of the bug you are reporting, please provide: i used 10 purple crest for my mirrored jewel event. Got a 3* wulfheort gem and a 2* duplicate. When i went to go sell my 3* that should have been unbound, it was bound and the 2* was unbound.

There is no bug here. The #/5 roll is individual per gem. You are not garunteed a higher unbound. It is a common misconception that the duplicate will always be a 2/5 bound. It’s just the highest possibility.
The 5-star gem drops give another 5-star as mirror, but it can be of a different quality. It sounds like the 2/5 was given by the crest (unbound) and the 3/5 as “mirrored” (which always are bound). I had the same thing, got a 2/5 unbound Phoenix Ashes and the “mirrored” one was a 3/5 bound Phoenix Ashes. Not a bug.
I used 3x purple crests and 7x orange crests during the mirrored jewels event and received:
Entropic well x 2
Stubborn oracle x2
Heartstone x2
Trickshot gem x2
Lucent watcher x2
Pain of subjugation x2
Respite stone x8
This seems like an unusually high amount of respite stones?!
It does actually, as the mathematical probability of receiving this many of the same gem is almost improbable which leads me to believe something is wrong .
Is it highly unlikely? Yes.
Is it broken? Nope.
Regardless, it has nothing to do with the original post which was about the main drop, and the duplicate drop, having different qualities for a 5-star gem (which was also not a bug).
