Does anyone else have this problem?

It gets reported all the time, but it’s not a bug.

[ Not A Bug ] - Hero's armour / weapon cosmetics are not showing

If you have cosmetic armour / weapon equipped, but you’re not seeing the appearances of them on your hero, confirm they’re marked as enabled.
