I can no longer update Immortal. I have a 32GB ipad. OS and Game unpatched require 16GB. Latest downloads are 17GB. Is this the new limit now? Has Diablo Immortal just kicked all people who have a 32GB device? Was enjoying the game…sad really

I have exactly the same issue. This game can no longer be played on my device because even with a completely clean install I can’t free up enough space to install. Please consider how those with with a device with 32GB can still play the game!
What is the model and model year of the iPad you are using?
Why does that matter? It works fine (with 3/11 Westmarch) and worked fine. The problem is the data size. The min spec for the game is iOS 13. Currently im running 16.5.1 on an 8th gen so it cant be that. The current spec on the app store is 3.6GB of data…I call bs on that.
I understand its a free to play game, and has great content. That is not an issue. The issue is that you have to download another 17GB of content to do anything. No parts can be skipped (languages that you may not need).
If it carrys on eventually 64GB wont be enough. Im not sure any game cant be optimised just a little to run on a device was only released 3 years ago.
I also have having the same problem , I have a 32g iPad I have used 16.6g but I wan not load past 2/11 westmarch as it’s saying I need to free up another 1.5 g space now I will literally need to buy a new iPad to play , I cannot play on my phone as my eyes hurt and on PC in so inconvenient , I have been playing since first released . I’m so upset now I’m going to fall behind again and get kicked out of my clan due to my inactivity

the problem is your phone does not have enough memory space to install the game, the game requires 13g of space. If you have a 32g tablet or phone, you need to delete useless texts, pictures, videos, music off your phone if you want to play. You should upload those to the Cloud or download to your PC, if you want to keep them.

I have a 32GB ipad 8 I am rundning IOS 17.4 and I have erased all other apps. My free space is 12,55 with the game installed …
However , I cannot download any of the in game content.
The games say there is not enough space! It’s bug.
I have 12,55 GB left!!!
Can someone of the developer please look into this.

I have cleared my cache, game data, other apps, emails, junk emails, even photos from my phone, repaired client and uninstalled the game, shut phone off for 5 minutes and reinstalled the game, and STILL the number stays the same 19,749! Just says “Requires additional 19749.36MB on your device. Please free up some space and try again. (EDN) ACCEPT” and everything I do, there is never a change in the amount of space needed to incline that I’m doing anything right.
The thing that sucks is the games have jumped in quality big time. I have a 128 gig phone that struggles to download everything now. The only real option (which I know sucks) is to sadly buy a newer device with larger storage probably 256 gigs or above. Unless blizzard reworks immortal big time and makes it mobile only or releases a new mobile title that will work with smaller storage that’s sadly the only viable option. I’m currently looking into getting an Ipad with larger storage to play. Look around see if there’s any options to make payments on so you don’t have to pay the full cost upfront.

I bought a 8th gen ipad with 32gb of storage and yeah, I couldn’t download the rest of the game to play it, I sold the ipad and found a used Tablet, Samsung Tab S9+ with 256gb or storage, game runs fine other than of course stuck at 30fps, stuck at low graphics, ya know because its not on their supported list, kinda dumb, yet my old Galaxy S9 can play it at 60fps, at high graphics, but a much much newer, faster tablet can’t…
