Incorrect spirit essences return

In addition to a description of the bug you are reporting, please provide:
Lost after update about a 20000 spirit essences.
And today received ingame mail with apologies with only one essence.
That not fun. Alot of time collecting them all, also collecting pet contracts. Now i have 234 contracts and cant upgrade any pet.

Blizzard is aware and working on this problem. Update to the post here indicates that it could take up to a week
