No matter how many times i complete this quest, the main story doesn’t proceed for some reason….Anyone know the reason why?

is there a quest within the dungeon you need to select to progress? If thats the case then the dungeon will keep showing as incomplete
I don’t think there is…
I also see the check marks on the left side of the screen where it shows the current quest.
Some of the early guide quests will only complete if the hero does them on Normal difficulty because, when the game first came out, heroes wouldn’t / couldn’t have progressed into Hell I difficulty without having done the storyline stuff. These days it’s entirely possible for heroes to out-level Normal difficulty, so may be doing the storyline quest in Hell I (or higher). So, what level is your hero, and what difficulty were you doing the dungeon on?
Could you add a screenshot of your hero having killed the end boss of the dungeon, and showing the quest?

I thought I cleared it in normal level before because it actually told me to do the quest in that level when I clicked on the quest. After reading your comment I did it again and it works now. Thanks so much!!
