I’ve ran about 10 lairs the past two nights and have not gotten 1 gem.
Were you capped?
There’s a limit to the number of gems you can obtain from events in Hidden Lairs each week. That limit is reached by clearing 21 Hidden Lairs. Each lair consists of 2 floors, with 3 gem events on each floor (2 mini-events and 1 boss), which means you can earn 21 * 2 * 3 = 126 gems per week. Once you have reached this limit, when you next get the screen to zone into a Hidden Lair, instead of the two squares showing gems being coloured, they’ll be greyed out, and this indicates you’ve reached the cap for the week.
I did not know there was a cap. Most likely what happened and I’ll look for the greyed out squares. Thank you for the reply.
