Speaking of lag issues with the game - blocking these domains actually improves the performance of the client. Not all but some of these domains and traffic already got analysed by networking pros and landed on the most popular open sourced host block lists. Anyway, blocking them all causes less latency, less jitter, higher low 1% fps, less issues, the UI works better, less rubberbanding etc.
This is the mosty nasty one as the game contacts it every 3 or 5 seconds and spawns Catlog errors on Android if blocked. Blocking it improves performance the most:
drpf-diena.proxima.nie.easebar.com
These are used during login and in some in game scenarios but also not needed:
applog.matrix.easebar.com
whoami.nie.easebar.com
data-detect.nie.easebar.com
dns.update.easebar.com
g0.gsf.easebar.com
g67ena.appdump.nie.easebar.com
impression.update.easebar.com
mbdl.update.easebar.com
netlink-sigma.proxima.nie.easebar.com
nos.gameyw.easebar.com
sdkgate.pushv3.easebar.com
sigma-orbitv3-impression.proxima.nie.easebar.com
unisdk.proxima.nie.easebar.com
who.nie.easebar.com
whoami.nie.easebar.com
From my experience these two can also be blocked if youâre not using any VPN. For some reason with OpenVPN (via ProtonVPN) you have to have these whitelisted otherwise the game wonât show any servers to log in to:
login.g67ena.easebar.com
mshttp-formal.g67ena.easebar.com
As an additional measure you can block these two domains which basically are trackers used by the game:
*app-measurement.com
*.braze.com
Also mind that the game, even though if you opt out for your data to be shared with external parties @ in game options - it still has and contacts Facebook ad tracker so I also block entire Facebook when playing.
With all of the above blocked the game performs MUCH better in terms of FPS and networking/lags. It also updates just fine, big or small patches work. Blocked these domains for long months, my account is still there and intact.
One might think that they use domains like dns update to optimise the traffic between you and the server but its not a thing at all. These are probably used for data analysis, tracking user behaviour and god knows what else they are doing ova there. Blocking all of it improves performance all across the board.
Easiest way to block these on any device is to use Private DNS solution like Controld. 30 days trial is free, no cc or account linking required. Iâm not affiliated with them in any way just providing solution. You might as well use a Notepad and edit your hosts file.
Keep calm,
