Which Game Modes were Impacted?

  • Vault Defense - very slow to load into the Vault area causing for me to enter the map a bit late and getting our party ganked by the Shadow raiders. This lag is very severe when playing in the PC version hence, I usually play Vault on my mobile but still experiencing lags there.
  • Lair Hunting - teleporting between maps to hunt for Lairs is a pain in a butt. When selecting an area on the map to teleport the game hangs for a few seconds before you can click again. This also sometimes cause black screens or worst a sudden closure of the app.
  • Helliquary Raids - very slow loading off the load area, sometimes when my game finally finishes loading my party is already halfway on the bossā€™ HP bar.
  • Dungeons - same as the ones stated previously, very slow in loading the area.
  • Kionā€™s Ordeal - same as the ones stated previously, also our hits on the bosses usually misses or it takes a while before our hits gets in. Its like everything that is happening inside the tormentorā€™s area is delayed for a couple of seconds.
  • BG - same as always, a lot of rubberbanding. Unable to get into the teleport portal, lots of hits not getting registered, clicking of skills not getting registered where you have to sometimes have to click the skill multiple times for it to work.
  • Terror Rifts - there are times that monsters doesnā€™t spawn at all. very laggy that you have to get out of the rifts then get in again just to lose the lag but also lose some significant time on completing the rift.

When did you start experiencing the Lag?
About 4 weeks ago when we started our Immortal Reign

What is the severity of the Lag?
VERY FREAKING SEVERE IN THE PC VERSION
SOMEWHAT TOLERABLE IN THE MOBILE VERSION

For BGs specifically: Were there any Improvements to Lag in BGs since last night?
NO

From what I can tell, its very bad to play with the PC version at the moment unless you only need to do some grinds. Doing PVP stuff there is so bad right now you might as well expect that you are gonna lose.

Plains of despair
Lag is really bad In battlegrounds, terror rifts and raids . When I say bad it is unplayable. If I had to approximate when it got this bad I would say the last merge .

    In vault/dungeons: medium
    Terror rifts: severe

  • For BGs specifically: Didnā€™t play bg too much cause it takes 5 mins on queue.

I reduced graphics quality, played on different networks, and nothing solve the lag. I did use a stats monitor to see if my device was having the issues (Android with 16gb ram) but gpu and cpu are working almost same with different quality modes and low latency and realized it isnā€™t my device or network

  • When did you start experiencing the Lag? Dnt remember exact dĆ”te, but i think sometimes around Tempest start
  • What is the severity of the Lag? Teror rifts are almost unplayable, rest too but sometimes restart of game helps
  • For BGs specifically: Were there any Improvements to Lag in BGs since last night? Dnt know

Also reduced graphics on minimum, network tried different and lags are still same :-/

    Almost all gamemodes, I have a pretty nice phone and the game has never lagged for me even on somewhat high settings, but now the lag is unbearable.

  • When did you start experiencing the Lag?
    Ever since the anniversary update and the server merges

  • What is the severity of the Lag?
    Its basically unplayable in raids and a few dungeons you are flung out of the map, dash and teleport skills sometimes dont work and opening the shop takes ages for some reason. It as so laggy during the fishing event I quit halfway. The game has started crashing now which never happened before.

  • For BGs specifically: Were there any Improvements to Lag in BGs since last night? Im sorry, I dont spend outrageous amounts of money on the game (Im broke) so I dont play bgs

Modes Impacted: BGs, Vault, Raids, Dungeons, Vigil of Blades
When: at minimum a month - at least a few weeks before the last update?
Severity: In PvP modes, itā€™s very bad. Iā€™ll often see players blink from one place to the next, or I donā€™t see anything near me and suddenly Iā€™m dead. In raids and dungeons, I experience it less than in the PvP modes.
Improvements: I didnā€™t BG last night, so I could not say.

Server: Dark Exile
Lag and slow load of the screen sometimes when i want to change map my screen freezes. I do Vault defense i always load slow , weird is sometimes my sound loads i can hear the fight while all i see is a loading screen. Lag and delays in Vaults,Terror rift, Elder Rift, hidden lairs. Letā€™s say everywhere. Deleting cache and giving my phone a restart and a complete clean doesnā€™t work, reinstalled game doesnā€™t work. My internet is absolutely good i even upgraded it 2 months ago nut seems that wasnā€™t the issue. I run a decent Samsung 5g phone so i doubt it is the issue since all issues i get them just i DI. Been playing almost from start still love the game but if you guys could fix some of the stuff in it that would be amazing and not only for me but also for the people i usually play with.

  • What is the severity of the Lag? Sometimes extremely horrible sometimes its the 2 seconds between being alive and dead in BGā€™s it sometimes not worth staying on to play
  • For BGs specifically: Were there any Improvements to Lag in BGs since last night? I havenā€™t seen any improvement but itā€™s happening on PC a lot more but my phone does have crazy lag spikes as well. It has been unplayable between 6-10pm est

Terror rifts for at least three weeks if not more, if we donā€™t time our entrance to load into a separate instance which is hard to coordinate when several parties enter the same rift then there is massive massive lag that makes it impossible to complete four spires and if we donā€™t get lucky and terror essence drops only in final spire then we lose one of our ten weekly runs and waste 13 minutes.

Terror essence is one of the few remaining items one can sell in the market since you applied the stupid ā€œcan buy only minimum priceā€ ā€œfixā€ and now every time trying to run a terror rift to farm them itā€™s a matter of luck if the next 13 minutes will be full of frustration not being able to finish four spires in time due to lag out of our control.

Chains of Honor, US PST.

During vault today I got lag/disconnected from my party several times. The lag is so bad that the party can finish 1/2-1/4 of a vault floor while I am wandering around wondering if I have dropped connection.

Thank you all for your reports! And please, keep them coming if you have not already given your insights. Iā€™ve been trying to find any patterns or similarities and report them to the game team as we go.

Vault, Dungeons, Raids, and BG. There has been no change in the lag. Still the same today as it has been since the last update. Server; Breath of Dying. Severity is pretty bad. takes almost 20 sec to load in. New PC, Never had this issue loading before the update. I use to load in very quickly.

Game modes: All of them PvE, PvP, instance and open world
First started experiencing lag: Since I restarted playing months ago. It got worse after the latest server merge.
The severity of lag: is one to three seconds of lag every few minutes. Especially noticable with movement increases or movement abilities.
I donā€™t participate in battlegrounds because the matchmaking is atrocious and there is lag there also. - There was lag just minutes ago in shadow war.

Black screen comming when someone summon me or something like this everything going out nothing can be doing

Lag about in game comming from group on dungeons , Hidden laird , bounty, vault

When people move around map or change build

This everything income from last update

It seems that many issues stemmed (kion, party with Immortal players and etc) from Immortal players, maybe can give a look at the Immortal side first?
