Have waited 96 hours (! 4 days !) to use eternal orbs, but shop ! Still ! Unavailable due to pending transactions. All other options exhausted!

On April 29th, I made two purchases on DI, buying one bundle on each occasion. One of these bundles contained some eternal orbs. Four days have passed since I made these purchases and the transactions are listed as ‘completed’ under my transaction history. However, I am still unable to access or use these orbs to make in-game purchases.

I have tried to spend the orbs countless times at the crests vendor and at the market over the past four days, but each time I have received a ‘shop unavailable due to pending transactions’ notification and have been barred from using them. This is extremely frustrating. I have scoured the forums and contacted game masters numerous times, trying to troubleshoot and find a solution to the problem. I have tested every suggestion I have found from these sources, trying everything recommended in the forums (waiting, logging in/logging out) and those that GMs offered me when I submitted tickets (clearing caches, deleting cookies, trying the game on different devices). I have even re-downloaded and repaired my client, which took hours.

And, yet, the issue persists. In my most recent interaction with a GM, he suggested I submit the issue as a bug report because we appear to have exhausted all other options, to no avail.

This issue has already happened to me 2-3 times before, but on those occasions, the issue resolved itself within 48-72 hours. Not this time. This has been incredibly frustrating and disruptive to my gaming experience and I am seriously considering packing the game in due to the massive inconvenience caused by it, unless the issue can be resolved soon or I am compensated for it somehow. This is becoming a joke. If I spend money on a product, I expect that I should be able to have access to and use that product within a reasonable timeframe, especially in a game where the effects of a purchase should be pretty much instantaneous once security checks have been passed. I can also see this is an issue many others repeatedly deal with. I have never had a problem with game mechanics or anything like that, but this issue is equally as exasperating in my eyes. Fix this, for the love of god, so I can get back to playing a game I really quite enjoy, otherwise I will delete the game and move onto other game providers whose transaction system isn’t completely useless.

EDIT: just had an afterthought and thought I’d add this in too. Interestingly (and in addition to what I’ve already written), I have received access to the other content included in the bundles I purchased (legendary crests, rare crests, normals gems, and telluric pearls were credited to my account) and I have been able to use these as I please. The bug appears to ONLY prevent me converting eternal orbs into platinum so I can make in-game purchases and disallows me from spending any platinum I’ve already accrued or stockpiled. It is really inhibiting my gaming experience and limiting my goals for building my character. Wtf!!!

Edit 2 (5/5/25): update: has now been over a WEEK since I made my purchase and STILL can’t spend orbs or use shop due to a ‘pending transaction’ but the transaction is no longer pending. Why is no one replying to my message on the forum? Where is the support!!!

Edit 3 (25/5/25):. It has been a month (!!!a month!!!) — four whole weeks — since this problem started and still not resolved, nor have I heard ANYthing from Blizzard. Absolutely shameful. I am boycotting all Blizzard games until I hear back from them. Dog sh!t customer service. Just woeful. This bug should be fixed and there shouldn’t be a silence as resounding as this from those who purport to support the game and wish to improve game players’ experiences. Why has nobody attempted to get in contact about this? For shame.

How can this be resolved? I have the same issue…

I have the same issue and it’s almost a week now that I cant buy/sell due to pending transactions. Nothing from the technical or in this forum can resolve it. It is so frustrating and disappointing knowing that u use real money to purchase this but does not work at all.

Hmmm… interesting. I had the same problem. I purchased some bundles in the blizzard shop. Few days later, I hadn’t received yet. I checked the purchased history… nothing on that… I checked my cards, no problem.
In my case, I re-purchased that item. And now I received that. But I don’t recommend this solution for all of you.

We actually received the items thru in game shops and bnet but the problem is when u purchased the in game bundles containing e-orbs, u cant use it to buy item from the market connection coz it prompted as pending transaction which in most of the case has no pending at all even if the purchase history stated as completed. U cant buy nor u cant sell anything.

Yeah, well it has been almost 2 weeks now, and the problem still hasn’t resolved itself, nor have I been contacted by any support staff at BNet to resolve the issue. Interestingly, I just attempted to purchase the golem cosmetic skin for my familiar using eternal orbs, just out of curiosity to see what might happen. To my surprise, it actually worked, taking 150 orbs from the 600 I had banked up, so wtf is going on there. Won’t work to buy crests from the crests vendor. Won’t work at the market place to buy items. ‘Can’t process due to pending transaction’. Yet works spontaneously when I try to buy a cosmetic? This is getting to the point of ridiculousness now.

Same problem here, 18 days without market and Crest vendor, is really frustrating.

I tried buying an ECHO OF DAWN with my ORBS and it worked. I would like to know why it is not possible to use the ORBS to buy ETERNAL LEGENDARY CREST, to acquire ORBS for that only and spend on something else. Why is it possible to buy one and not the other?

i am in the same situation, almost 1 month and nothing, 10 tickets, a lot of recomendation and nothing.

Absolutely shameful ! It’s so disrespectful how they respond to tickets in a generic way.

I have already opened several tickets, the problem has not been resolved and they close the tickets as if the problem had been solved!

Same issue here for 3 months now. This has killed the ability to advance the character as intended. It takes making plat completely away, can’t obtain key needed materials, can’t even craft a purple crest with fading embers even though that isn’t using plat! Same in my case, worked through ticket and game master said that all transactions are cleared, that the message should not be appearing, and told me to post here. So I did that many weeks ago. Instead of a fix, it seems to be impacting more and more players. Maybe when no one can spend orbs for plat someone will take notices - loss of game revenue should be a motivator here…

same situation, almost 2 months. i was waiting for the june update to see it got back to normal and nothing, very disappointing. we were blocked and they don’t care
