My impression is that shortcut dungeons have 100% green drop. I just had one literally just now MKB shortcut dungeon without any drop.
So assuming you mean the dungeons where we go to the boss using a golden portal and goblins spawn. Nah it isn’t guaranteed. Only orange glow bosses guarantee a green item, from a chest.
Up until this week or so, every single “shortcut” dungeon I’d done gave everyone in the party a set item. So I’d say that it was guaranteed. Even now, I’ve done several this last few days and only one of them didn’t give me the green item, all others did. Yesterday even, I ran a dungeon with “spectral allies”, it happened to be one of these “shortcut” ones and I got the green item at the end. Too bad that I can’t remember which dungeon it was the one that didn’t.
Any dungeon which has the Greed modifier, where you instantly teleport to the boss event, and treasure goblins spawn during the fight, is 100% supposed to drop a set item.
This modifier was introduced in the Splintered Souls patch in December 2023. Every single Greed’s Spoils run I’ve ever done in the 18+ months since its introduction has given me a set item. Every single one.
If no set item dropped from a Greed’s Spoils run, that’s absolutely a bug.
The greed modifier seems to give me either a drop or 2 counts on the x/5 pity so idk maybe that’s a thing or im just crazy
Yup ive always gotten a drop as well I wonder if this might be related to the person saying about failed drops when pity is 5/5
Question. Did you get anything in the mail within an hour or so after the dungeon?
