This message serves as a follow-up to the bug report I submitted on April 30th. I have reached out to support multiple times, yet they consistently direct me to the forum and reassure me that “developers” will resolve the issue. How long is one expected to wait for a reply?
My Echoing Shade shadow continues to appear intermittently but fails to function at all. In essence, it is ineffective as it does not operate as it should. Up to this point, I have not received any responses regarding my concern.
I received the following from Game Master Snelphmos “You’re not imagining it, Echoing Shade just isn’t working right now, and you’re far from the only one noticing. It’s been bugged for a while with no response, and sadly, there’s nothing Customer Support can fix directly since it’s tied to backend class systems. The issue’s been flagged in bug reports, but since it’s part of an older Soulbind power, it likely got broken when those systems were phased out. That said, Blizzard does monitor those forums even if they don’t always reply, and these kinds of bugs sometimes get fixed in stealth hotfixes. Right now, there’s no known workaround that brings it back fully. Some folks have tried parsing combat logs or building WeakAuras to detect if the proc is still happening invisibly, but for most players, it looks fully disabled."
Not sure why he/she said ES is not working as I see other player’s ES shadows and they appear to be working just fine.
In addition to the ES issue, I am also facing problems with Black Wall (Umbra Eater) and Rotted Harvest (Devouring Golem). The Golem is intended to maintain the mages’ activity. However, they intermittently cease functioning without any apparent cause. They simply drop off. This is concerning, given that they represent my primary source of damage. At times, I may lose all of them. The necessity to summon them all again due to a bug is quite time-consuming. This situation is not favorable for team play.
Occasionally, when I summon the mages, two appear; however, more frequently, I find myself having to summon them one at a time, which prolongs the process of bringing six into battle. Even when I have fewer than six, as I attempt to bring them all online, one or more may unexpectedly drop while I am working to get all six in play.
When I am killed on the Battleground or other player vs. player events and have waited to resurrect, I must then wait for the Golem to refresh, after which I need to summon each mage individually. Without the summons availability, I am essentially combat ineffective for a significant duration. I do not understand why I cannot summon all the mages simultaneously. Why must I experience additional waiting time to refresh my Golem and mages after already having waited to resurrect? A reset should be a reset. As a Necromancer, it quite challenging to play without its summons readily available.
I have invested both time and money into Diablo Immortal and naturally expect to have access to the features for which I have paid and/or earned. I genuinely enjoy playing the game. Given that I have been contending with the ES issue for approximately two months, I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to acquire a different legendary gem of superior strength as an exchange for the ES. I would have progressed more swiftly, obtained additional items, and so forth, had the shadow consistently appeared and performed as intended. I would appreciate the ability to add a 5-star level 10 legendary gem.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
