I’m experiencing a frustrating issue with Diablo Immortal on PC. The game gets stuck on the loading screen, showing only the background image without any text or progress indicator.
What I’ve Tried So Far:
- Updated my GPU drivers (NVIDIA)
- Cleared the NVIDIA/DXCache folder
- Restarted my PC multiple times
- Even upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11
- Verified that my system far exceeds the minimum requirements
- Scanned and repaired game files(there was no issue)
Task Manager Observations:
- CPU Usage: ~11-12%
- Memory Usage: ~136-140MB
- Disk & Network Usage: 0 MB/s
The game just sits there without progressing further. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Exact same issue. I can run literally ANY game on max settings, yet somehow this mobile port crashes multiple times a day, and now doesn’t even want to start. The only thing that fixes this for me is a complete reinstall, but it has been happening almost daily now and I sure as f^ck won’t be doing a clean reinstall every single time. This is driving me insane.

Right, reinstall helped me. Hope I wouldn’t need to do it each time I launch the game lol
My problem since today is somehow similar: loading takes ages (up to an hour on my PC) and when the game starts I can’t klick to get into the game (Diablo screen). The buttons on the right side of the screen work though. I never had this issue before. Scan&Repair did not help. Any ideas?
Found a fix: C drive → Program Files → Diablo Immortal → LocalData… delete the following 3 files and launch the game: 1) Config, 2) LocalLog, 3) SSConfig. Three white icons. This reliably fixes it for me every single time now, no clue why, not gonna question it. Enjoy!

I have the same problem (on my PC), usually after an update involving a few GB. The loading screen appears, files download, and then the screen goes black. It works fine on my phone or tablet, but I always have these issues on my PC. I’ve already submitted a ticket, but unfortunately, the automatic instructions don’t help.
