the game hangs very often, freezes and you can’t do anything except move the mouse cursor, the only thing that helps is a hard reset of the laptop and it’s quite troublesome when you’re playing PVP or a terror rift where time is running out. other publishers also had problems with their games on this system and quickly resolved it by releasing patches.
Device Type: Laptop
Device Model: Legion Y-720
Device Operating System: Windows 11 24H2
Diablo Immortal App Version: 3.2.0.2571390
This is a known WINDOWS issue with 24H2, meaning this is not a bug on the games side but on the OS side. Also this has been heavily gone over already.
Microsoft has acknowledged that their update broke something in games (and in many other things, the list of known issues is extensive). They should fix all of that. Because it’s them who broke it. Game developers disabling a feature that was working fine before the Microsoft update is no solution, it’s just a hot-fix that should be temporary.
Sure, Blizzard could do the same thing, but they could also do nothing and wait for Microsoft to fix the problem and for now… That’s what seems to be hap…

Is there any way other than going back to previous Win 11 update?
Literally, I either blue screen or game just crashes multiple times every day.

this is the workaround for the freezing issues.
Found that on windows forum, I will quote the message as it is. I will try to do that now, if someone else want to try and let us know if it really works would be appreciated
"I have deactivated all Win 11 gaming improvements.
That means:
Win key + X > System > Play > Deactivate game mode.
Graphics > Deactivate optimization for windowed display mode.
Below: Advanced graphics settings > Deactivate hardware accelerated GPU planning
It helped me in Diablo Immortal
I had no problems with 24H4…
