Yesterday before RoE Had my badge safe. suppose to get 12 % one. Give my spot to a clan member instead. Today i wake up and i recieve 8% badge. Had never skipped a shadow war and had my Impact Perfect.
Please fix this. Gaining a good badge takes to much time.
Server- Frost Horrors.
To achieve a Perfect rating for Impact as a Shadow requires that you take part in at least one Rite of Exile fight during the reign. If you hadn’t already taken part in one, and you gave your spot in last night’s ROE to a clan-mate, this means you’d get a Very Good rating rather than Perfect, and that’s why you’d get an 8% badge rather than a 12% badge.
Assuming the Immortals reign lasts seven weeks, there will be four ROE battles (in weeks 4, 5, 6 and 7) which means that, at most, 32 members of a Shadow clan can ever get a Perfect Impact rating, and have the possibility of a 12% badge.
Ok. It would be good if it worked like that.
Than explain to me how several people got the badge doing absolutely the same thing i did. I mean not skipping the war, but not participating in RoE.
Well, here’s the in-game information screen, with the relevant section highlighted…
So, those that take part in ROE get a higher score, which means those that don’t get a lower score. Lower than Perfect is Exceptional. Exceptional means you get an 8% badge.
As a member of a Shadow Clan, it’s not possible to get a 12% badge unless you take part in at least one Rite of Exile battle during the reign.
If your other clan members got an Akeba’s Chosen badge, they absolutely took part in at least one ROE during the reign because there’s no other way to obtain / maintain a Perfect rating for Impact as a Shadow, and that’s a pre-requisite for the 12% badge.
That’s why Leaders of Shadow Clans ensure that 8 different members get to take part in a ROE in each of weeks 4, 5, 6 and 7, to ensure that 32 of their members get a 12% badge…
Again, this is not correct. My Friend has 2 additional characters for clan to help with score.
Thy don’t participate in RoE and they still got 12 badge.
It’s also the word around here, that you can get the 12% badge as a shadow without taking part in a rite of exile.
But I think that you have to be in a top 3 shadow clan and take part in all 3 Vigil of Blades, though. Not missing a single Shadow War and Assembly is also a given.
The in-game information says that participating in ROE will give a higher score.
By not participating, you got a lower score.
I’ve literally shown you screenshots where the only difference between a 12% badge (Akeba’s Chosen) and an 8% badge (The All-Knowing) was the Impact rating being Perfect versus Exceptional respectively.
By all means, wait for a Blizzard response (good luck, as there have literally been less than half a dozen blue replies to Bug Report threads since the forums were started a couple of years ago) but your Impact was not Perfect because, by your own admission, you didn’t take part in ROE.
The information you are referring to in not correct. Because no one bothered to translate it correctly.
Where does it states that you must participate in RoE to receive 12% badge?
Yes, ROE event has a big impact for those badges especially for the immortal clan member.
Before the event, I would have a 8% immortal badge for this season but now I do have a 12% badge(Kion’s Chosen).
If you want 12% badges, you need to join the ROE event everytime… and do the daily works.
Participating in or winning the Rite of Exile will yield higher score
Thus, if taking part gives you a higher score, not taking part gives you a lower score
In your opening post, you said you gave up your ROE spot to a clan-mate.
Thus, you got a lower score because you did not participate in ROE.
Having a lower score gets you a lower badge.
Not participating in ROE means a lower score, i.e. less than perfect.
The next rank below Perfect is Exceptional.
Perfect is needed for 12% badge.
Exceptional gets you an 8% badge.
You don’t like that answer. So, what’s your answer to…
How can you have a Perfect rating if you didn’t do 100% of the things needed for Perfect?
If Perfect score is required for Akeba’s Chosen badge and to get perfect score requires participating in RoE, then why have I previously earned the badge without ever participating in RoE? I posted the screenshot showing that I have them.
This is at least the third time I’m asking because I’m confused and would like to know the answer too.
You need to obtain / maintain a Perfect Impact rating to get the Akeba’s Chosen 12% badge. As the players that took part in ROE get a higher score (as per the in-game information screen) than you did, you should have a lower score than they did, so you should have had no higher than Exceptional Impact.
So, if anything’s a bug, I’d consider getting a 12% badge without participating in ROE to be a bug, not that non-participation in ROE didn’t get one.
Odd thought as I don’t do reigns. Does winning final roe effect full clan? So say you were in a shadow clan that became the new immortals. It’s stated that participating or winning gives 12% or seems an odd way to word it.
