Controller becomes unresponsive at random times

My controller will become unresponsive at random times. I do not receive the message “controller disconnected,” and it’s completely random.

It’s not the controller. I’ve played on it for months. This problem only started with last week’s update.

This happens every now and then following an update.

I’ve made a report on it before.

Edit (01APR): I stopped using the other post because the problem resolved itself after an update. However, this most recent update seems to have brought back the issue.

More details: The only way to fix it is to unplug and plug back in. Then it just happens again later at a random time. I’ve tried re-downloading the game on my pc and I’ve tried lowering the graphical setting and turning off Vertical sync. Nothing I’ve tried stops the issue.

I play on PC (windows) with the latest version of Diablo Immortal installed. My controller is an XBoX Power A fusion (cable connection).

Edit (4APR) Problem still not resolved. No response from Blizzard. Has anybody else found a solution to this?

Edit (7APR) I don’t know how and I don’t know why, but the problem just went away! Maybe Blizzard did a hot fix? Either way, I’m very happy because I can play pvp without worrying again! Is anyone still having issues?

Rather than duplicating the post it is best to continue the thread if the issue is the same. This keeps all relevant details in one thread.

Some more details would also help to see if others are experiencing issues with the same setup.

Same issue here, Xbox controller (wired or dongle) stops working on PC after couple minutes and no disconnected message on screen. But it’s working fine on Mobile version.

Awesome, thank you for coming out. Maybe we can get the attention of someone from Blizzard? I enjoy playing on mobile casually, but for pvp I prefer the controller.
