Clicking on the start button for elder rift does nothing

Not sure what I am apparently doing wrong. I’ve got 6 legendary and 30 rare. No combination of them actually does anything when you try to enter the rift except you can hear it clicking.

Also considered lag, but though clicking on start does nothing i can cancel, walk 5 feet and do a challenge rift. Bounties are fine. Hidden lairs, warband chests, etc. I feel like I have to be missing something obvious because the other 99.9999% of the game works fine.

This same thing happened to me yesterday. I changed the “Gem Drop Pool” from Standard to Custom Drops, chose the gems (you have to choose 1-star, 2-stars and 5-stars gems, pay attention to the left side “boxes” for each category) randomly (I wasn’t interested in any of them in paticular at that moment), clicked on Confirm, tried again and it allowed me to enter the rift.
