Cannot progress main quest "Heart of the jungle"

I am a return player 2 days ago and started a new character at Verathiel.

My character is at the main quest “Heart of the jungle” and the quest objective is to complete Kikuras Rapids. However I have completed the dungeon 3 times and yet the quest did not register as complete. Now my character is stuck at main quest. Please help.

An update: Managed to progress the quest without using spectral allies. Soloed the dungeon and the quest update successfully.

This quest is intended for heroes in their mid-30s and seems to only complete if you run the dungeon on Normal difficulty. So, if you’re a lot higher level and playing on Hell 1 (or higher) try dropping the difficulty back down to Normal and re-running the dungeon.

I am doing it in Normal. I’m not even sure how to unlock beyond normal. I have not completed the campaign.
