Same problem here on my char and all of my friends, i rly don’t get it, how can You Blizz add reward “Instantly and 1 lvl” and make it giving players only exp equal to 1lvl without penalties…

I just experienced the same issue upon receiving the rewards from the Chinese New Year Event!
Sadly, this had an impact on my char as I was counting with it to advance from Inferno IV to Inferno V.

So I’m creating this reply to confirm that this bug is still happening!!

Details:

  • Rewards from the second tab (the one that is based on the day of the month).
  • I had 4 rewards of “+1 instant level” to claim and was at level 1197.
  • Upon clicking on each one, I received only 2 levels, stopping at level 1199.

Saturday, 17th February…

XP before collecting: 339,833
XP after collecting: 514,833
XP granted: 175,000

So, instead of receiving 3,500,000 XP received 175,000 XP.

This “Gain 1 level instantly” granted 1/20th of a level instantly.

Hi.

Same happend to me. I got 1/4 of lvl. Blizz you should write how much xp we getting and than we could understand the -% xp if you are abbove server lvl. Just dont write 1lvl…
We are paying for this game you shouldent make such a mistake…

Same. I did not receive any instant levels from Tong Shi’s gifts, though I unlocked 5 rewards by now.

Saturday 24th February…

XP before collecting: 227,604
XP after collecting: 577,604
XP granted: 350,000

Once again, not 3,500,000 XP.

Just collected the reward now (I doubt that I can do it tomorrow, and my lvl will not drop bellow server until the end of the event anyway):

XP before collecting: 330,083
XP after collecting: 2,430,083
XP granted: 2,100,000

My Reduced XP Rewards factor is 60% which checks with the XP that I’ve received.

Same with me. It was 1211 1/10 before the gift and still 1211 2/10 after it. No level gain.
