I’m sure can’t be the only player to have raised several bugs with useful reproducible steps over the past three years and found that none of them has been acknowledged or resolved.
As a game that is earning substantial income from the users, it would be nice to have some form of reply when we take (waste?) the time to log bugs.
Perhaps the bug could be categorised as High, Medium or Low priority and the ticket closed if the bug is deemed not worth fixing?
It would also be useful if there was a method for adding screenshots to illustrate a bug…
Not everyone posting on a forum is a hacker or trying to upload inappropriate images or malware.
e.g. Couldn’t we upload the images but let these be reviewed by a moderator before displaying them on the site?
Surprisingly posting links is possible and it’s been shared how to do so countless times.
Unfortunately changing posting permissions isn’t possible without replacing the entire forum back end.
On the topic of replies. This has been a long standing issue and complaint and Ghost has recently acknowledged it and stated that he will attempt to check in more often. But he is also only 1 person.
Hey Ghost, question, there is a ‘solved’ list for each person which is never used. Is this something that us as users have access to or is it only admin side? Just thinking if basic posts can be marked as solved it could possible clean up a lot visually.
It’s used, but it’s incredibly rare as it’s limited to just one sub-forum…
If someone makes a post in the Technical Support sub-forum, and someone makes a reply (with a fix / workaround) then the original poster can mark that reply as the Solution. That’s what gives you the solved count. The number of solutions a player has provided does not factor into their Trust Level.
I’m glad that you reassured us. Seriously, it means a lot to me - after all, we also take time to describe a bug properly.
Since we’re on the topic, I have a few thoughts:
Can we please have a copy button next to the current game version info on the start menu?
It would be really nice if there was some kind of system that informs us when a bug is reported. It could be a short reply (at least on the forum), but since you might not have time, maybe it would be easier to have a public list of bugs acknowledged by the Dev team? It’s just a dream, I know.
When will players regain what yhey lost in the druid event? Lossing 1/3 of my resonance really feels bad the lost gempower is devastating! Please help.
I heard people are going to be compensated for that. That very well may be what the upcoming patch is about. Perhaps fixing druid essences that simply do not work.
