Whether you believe it or not does not alter the fact that it’s true.
I have not spent any money, at all, on Diablo Immortal.
No, the reason I had lots of INF5 gear ready to wear as soon as I hit 1200 paragon was because I’d been pre-farming INF5 open-world and dungeons for weeks.
I got there by playing the game a lot.
Correct. I do not, have not, and do not intend to, work for Blizzard or NetEase.
You really should look back through my actual post history rather than just basing this on the fact that I didn’t agree with you on your take about time-limited rewards not being rewards. You’d find lots of posts from me criticising stuff and as for Bug Reports? Oh, my, I’d get frequent flyer airmiles for those.
I posted this back in September 2023…
…precisely because of how hard it was for players to catch up on Helliquary levels, Tableau levels and Legendary gear ranks. Since that thread, Blizzard have implemented catch-up mechanics for the Helliquary and Tableau, but still nothing for the gear ranks.
It’s one of the biggest remaining time-barriered differences between players’ gear. For example, if a player’s hero has Rank 15 legendaries, they offer (if I remember rightly) about 70 CR per gear item. At Rank 30 it’s 220 CR. That’s a difference of 150 CR and for 8 gear items, that’s a total of 1200 CR difference. That’s locked behind literally months of grinding for materials, due to there being zero catch-up mechanics.
