Hey everyone, my character has been bugged for over a year now. I only just returned to the game and decided to try and fix the issue—back then, I actually stopped playing because of it.
The problem is that I can’t use my character’s basic attack. When I log in, I can use skills just fine, but the moment I try to use the primary/basic attack, my character becomes completely unable to do anything else—no skills, no movement, absolutely nothing. I’d really appreciate some help fixing this so I can get back to playing normally.
There’s something wrong there… Your primary attack icon is for “Wind Edge”, which is one of the Tempest’s primary attacks. You shouldn’t have the option to select that with a Demon Hunter.
Have you tried going to the Skills menu and changing the primary attack? You should have “Crossbow Shot” and “Explosive Arrow”.
To do this you would visit Selynne’s Basilica in Westmarch…
And click on the Shifting Flames (Class Change) brazier…
You would then choose a different class, your hero would get changed to that class, and then you could change back to Demon Hunter as, according to the Community Manager, this should resolve the issue (if you don’t want to wait for a fix to the bug).
i have this bug as well after changing my class to blood knight. changing class again didnt fix it. And changing class again made one of my essences not work correctly. so trying to fix one thing added another and didnt fix the main one. Im on pc using keyboard and mouse. Iv reinstalled the game, ran the bnet and game repair. Iv done everything i can on my end. this bug seems have been around for awhile im starting to wonder if anyone is even working on bugs in this game.
bugs are usually never ever easy to solve. They have a team but they need to triage and prioritize. Plus most times people never provide enough info to begin the process
