Bans: Once and for all - we need transparency, a fair system and way better support

Hi all,

I know - people who are not affected will likely react as expected. Cheaters deserve their bans (yes they do) and it is important that “illegal” activities get punished (yes it is)

However, the current ban process needs to be reworked immediatly.
The current process:

  • has 0 transparency, you simply don’t know why you get banned (I still dont know why it hit me)
  • support is basically non existing (the appeal ticket process is a joke with copy / paste messages)
  • and it is highly unfair as it does not include any warning / strike system etc.

Especially in a game like DI, where people invest huge amount of money to SUPPORT the game, a system like this is beyond anything that should be allowed to be used.

Just image following scenarios:
you have invested (like I did) 30k Euros in the game. This a LOT OF MONEY.
And you get banned out of nowhere not knowing why (like it happend to me).

Now think about it:

  • What if the “Cheat detection system” really has flaws?
    or
  • What if the affected person did “violate” something and is completely unaware of it?

Since we have absolutely 0 insight, we simply don’t know what could trigget a ban. How can this be a “safe und fun environment”??

My best bet is still my XBOX controller use (Series 2 Elite), but again, I dont know. I know nothing, only that I got banned out of nowhere.

Considering how often you get ingame mails with:
oops here is your loot you were supposed to get but our systems didnt work as they should at the time

Having an instant permaban with no human involved and no way to reach customer support seems … lets say extremely unfair

Its not even about the money, game is no investment, the money is lost the second you spend it. Its about the fact that you do not own your character. Ohh you care for for some numbers on screen ? let me just take it away from you because I decided so. And yeah your money is mine to keep too ofc, read the ToS if you disagree, and if you still disagree read them again.

You wont find anything specific in there and we wont share any details, but shareholders only allocated enough money for generic machine replies, they dont see a need to explain.

Yes, I agree with you but:

REALLY? why spend so much in a game? 30.000,00 € is much more that how i spent for my car.
And really you didn’t know that what happened it’s a possibility before spending all that money?

(you really don’t need to answer at my post)

When you started playing DI, you didn’t sign any contract; you simply agreed to their terms of play. Once you’ve agreed…you can’t do anything. No one forced you to spend so much money to enjoy like a 10-year-old child with big wings in a game. This sounds like entirely your problem. Lol

There is a wise advice - if you cant say anything meaningful to the topic, its better to be silent.

I’m kinda suspecting he is a blizz undercover guy. He pops up on every ban post to blame the victim.

I am expressing my personal opinion and not imposing it on anyone. And Other users have written that these are their terms and there is nothing you can do, just look at the other similar topics. We live in a democracy, and I have the right to express my opinion. I don’t know what is off-topic. Am I talking about animals and food?

they ban legit players but lets bots run the whole market, great company.

CHINAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa own them
