I had my main hand awakened and saved in armory. It was not showing on my pve builds, only on the pvp builds. I overwrote my pve builds and had no luck getting the awakening to show. I salvaged the main hand in hopes of getting my dawning echo in return, which did not happen. Now I have no awakening in any slots in armory and no dawning echo. I have the two extra gem resonance that were attached to the awakened slot, but no longer have an awakened slot… Big waste of $25 if this cannot be corrected.

Same thing just happened to me earlier today. My awakened main hand weapon is now no longer awakened just after swapping a build from the Armoury. And the Awakening stone ‘Echo’ is not in my inventory neither.
Quite frustrating and I have reported to Blizzard, hopefully they can restore it or just give me a refund for the 1,000 orbs for re-awakening the gem.
Okay, most obvious things first…
When you use awakening, you awaken the gear slot and you only get the awakening bonus to the item’s ability if the item in the awakened gear slot contains a Rank 10 gem in it.
So, could your main hand still be awakened but in some of your armoury builds you have a Rank 10 gem in the awakened gear slot and in other builds you don’t?
